- Please join the Flyers for Life this Saturday (1/22) for the March for Life! Meet up at 9:45 a.m. in the grassy area near the Louisiana Boardwalk and look for Mr. Villalba or Ms. Barker. The march will begin at 10 a.m. and proceed across the Texas Street Bridge to First United Methodist Church of Shreveport’s East parking lot.
- Junior Boys interested in applying for LA Boys State are to submit your 2 essays to Mrs. Alexander no later than this Friday morning, Jan. 21. Essay prompts were in the email sent January 5. Questions, see or email Mrs. Alexander.
- Boys Varsity Basketball tonight at 6:30pm at home; the girls' game is being rescheduled.
- Congratulations to the girl's basketball team! They defeated Woodlawn 40-38 last night for their seventh straight win. The Lady Flyers were led by Tiffany Siharath with 16 points and Kate Fortune with 10 points. The girl's game scheduled for tonight has been postponed. The boys will play North Caddo tonight at the Loyola gym starting at 6:30, so come out and support the Flyers.
- Good luck to the Lady Flyers soccer team as they travel this weekend to Lafayette to play Acadiana and Teurlings. Let’s go Flyers!!
- Service Hour Opportunity - Mary’s House is requesting 2 students for next Tuesday, Jan 25 from 5:45-8 pm to assist with childcare. Please contact Marci Moore at 903-926-2017 or [email protected] if interested in service hours!
- Service Hour Opportunity - Mary's House Pregnancy Care Center needs volunteers after school to label water bottles. This project should take two or three afternoons. Please contact L'Anne Sciba at [email protected] if you are interested. Service hours will be awarded.
- Service Hour Opportunity - The Krewe of Atlas is looking for volunteers to help with preparations for their Grande Ball. They need help setting up tablescapes and they will also need stage hands on Thursday, January 20th and Friday, 21st, beginning right after school until 5:00PM at the Shreveport Convention Center. If you are interested in helping, please contact Kelly McCain at 318-655-3404.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 1.24.22 - 1.28.22. https://forms.gle/CqpqQEE14Ye8VapF7 The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
- Parents: Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is open. The registration fee will remain at $300 if registering before the deadline of March 15. Financial aid applications are also due at this time. A letter to parents will be sent soon with further details.
