Announcements for Tuesday, February 8, 2022 - Today is a B day. 

• TODAY is a late start day.  First bell rings at 9:15.  The tardy bell rings at 9:20. 

• Attention All Flyers -  a generous donor from Mary's House would like to pay for Loyola students to attend the Fete For Life Banquet with legendary football coach Lou Holtz next Tuesday, February 15, starting @ 5 pm at Bossier Civic Center.

• We are still collecting bottled water through Tuesday of this week.  Help us reach our goal of 1000 bottles of water for Christian Service by Friday. Bring water to help those in need!  Drop the water off in the cafeteria before school. You may drive up behind the Residence Building and students will take the water or you may leave it on the cafeteria ramp. 

• Congratulations to the girls basketball team. They defeated Calvary 44 - 31 last night.

• Today: All art club members need to come to the front steps of the school when the bell rings for lunch to have the group photo taken for the yearbook. 

• Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 02.14.2022 – 02.18.2022.  https://forms.gle/TmJbz8j8ZQ53R7kP9   - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.

• Due to the lack of orders for breakfast items, the cafeteria will no longer offer breakfast, effective this week.

• Make plans to come cheer on the girls soccer team for a WHITE OUT as they face Lusher! LCP students will get in free, have a cash drawing at halftime, and can get a free long sleeve t-shirt while supplies last! Game time is this Wednesday at 5:30 at Messmer. See you there!!  

• Rising 10th, 11th, and 12 graders:  interested in learning more about medical health professions?  AHEC of a Summer can give you that, plus 1/2 credit in elective science, and almost 100 hours of community service and CPR certification.  Apply with all required materials by March 4.  Download and apply on the Bayou Buzz app or with an app on their website.  http://bnahec.org/programs.html

• Get ready to boogie down with your date for this year's Sadies on February 12, 2022 from 8 to 10pm in the New Compound at Loyola! Girls will ask dates for this dance! They can ask a friend, boyfriend, or go solo to the dance. Be thinking of some outfit ideas, as you and your date will wear matching costumes, sweatshirts, or T-shirts! • Service Hour Opportunity on Campus - If you are in need of a service hour, then stop by R203 right after school on Wednesday, February 9th. The Garden Park club will be chatting on Zoom with the residents, and we will be making Valentine's Day cards for them. • Senior Ads - The deadline has passed, but the Yearbook staff still has limited space for Senior Ads. We will continue to accept Senior Ads until the allotted space runs out. Contact JJ Marshall at 318-572-5919 as soon as possible if you are still wanting a personalized ad for your Senior.
