- School will be closed Friday, February 16th through Monday, February 19th for Winter Break. Classes will resume Tuesday, February 20th.
- The Girls Basketball team is in Covington, LA for the first round of playoffs against Northlake Christian High School at 6:00PM tonight. Good luck, Flyers!
- Congratulations to the boy's golf team for their win at the Rebel Mardi Gras Classic. The team was led by Connor Cassano with a score of 71 and Jack Gilmer with a 79. Charlie Bell, Jack Lauve and Charles Valiulus rounded the top 5. LCP Boy's Golf had 11 players compete in this year's tournament.
- Millicent Mascagni has been nominated for Shreveport Times Athlete of the Week! Vote for Millicent here!
- Bowling vs Airline today at Holiday Lanes at 3:45 PM.
- Baseball vs. Northwood on Monday at 6:00PM at Cicero Field. Let's go, Flyers!
- There will be a mandatory varsity cheer interest meeting in the Loyola gym on Thursday, Feb 22nd at 5:30. All students interested in trying out are required to attend.
- The Lady Flyers Soccer Team will be taking on Isidore Newman in the semifinals on Saturday at 4:00PM at Messmer. Current LCP students get in free for this game with ID* Tickets for home games may be purchased on GoFan! Reminder - per LHSAA regulations, everyone 7 and up *(with the above exception for LCP students) must purchase a ticket and season passes are not valid for playoffs.
- There will be a retreat presented at the Catholic Center on March 8 & 9 with best-selling author and motivational speaker, Immaculee. If you would like to attend, please see the attachment for more details and registration info.
- St Joseph Seminary Come and See Vocations Retreat weekend will be held the weekend of March 22-24 at St Joseph Seminary, Covington LA. This retreat is open to young men ages 15-25. .Leading this spring’s retreat will be Father Raney Johnson and Father Kelby Tingle. Registration deadline is February 29th.

The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

- Service Hour Opportunity - The Overton Brooks VA Employee Association is hosting an Easter egg hunt on March 23, 2024 from 8:30 - 12:00 for children ages 0-10 years old. (Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, 510 E. Stoner Avenue, Shreveport). They need assistance with food distribution, leading egg hunters, face painting, leading games and craft projects. - NEW Loyola Rosary Group - During the Lenten season the Rosary Group will hold a Joyful Mysteries Moderate Floor Workout led by certified Rosary core instructor, Allyson Lawson on Monday Mornings at 8 AM beginning 2/26 in the Volleyball Lounge located in the GYM. Join us as we integrate the prayers of the Rosary with core strengthening, stretching and movements to nourish the body and cultivate innerr peace.
