March 9, 2023Announcements for Thursday, March 9, 2023 - Today is a B day.
- Spring Break is next week. When we return on March 20th, students will begin wearing the spring uniform.
- Congratulations to our Varsity and JV Lacrosse teams on their wins over Magnet High School on Tuesday night! Varsity won by a score of 15-4. Robert Pavlick was the scoring leader of the night with 4 goals, followed by Alex Horton with 3. Bruce Henley, Holland Marrs and Rowan Guthikonda each had 2 goals and Grant Sockrider and Gray Burch each scored once. The JV team won by a score of 3-2 with goals by Nicholas Avallone, Fatte Ivy and Mason Drake. Our Varsity team will be traveling to Alexandria on Saturday, March 18. They will take on Brother Martin High School at 11am and the Renegades at 5pm. Both games will take place at the LSU-A Recreational Fields. Come out and support Loyola Flyers Lacrosse!!

- Baseball vs. North Caddo tonight at 6:00 PM at Cicero Field
- The Flyers Track Team will be back on the track this Thursday at the Airline Viking Relays. Come out and support!
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 03.20.2023-03.24.2023. https://forms.gle/YtR wax QVB7MaGsG7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY 03/17/2023 at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Service Hour Opportunity - The American Rose Center needs volunteers to help with the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1st. Volunteers will work from 9am-2:30pm. The students will be assigned to a workstation when they arrive. Below is the google form link for the students to sign up. Please bring your service hour form with you.

Parent Announcements- Spring Break is next week.
- Students will begin wearing Spring Uniforms on Monday, March 20. The Uniform Closet is fully stocked with polos, khaki shorts and girls' skirts. We also have a large selection of Spirit Shirts and apparel for all of our LCP sports teams. All items are $3 each. The closet is open Monday through Friday during regular school hours. Offer only available through April 1st!- Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is currently underway. The registration fee is $300 if registering before the March 15 deadline. Tuition Assistance applications are also due at this time. A reminder that this year we are using FACTS for tuition assistance. You can log on to FACTS at: http://online.factsmgt.com/aid and apply. - Parents! The Flyer Alumni Association is looking for 2-3 volunteers to work at the annual Snoopy Shootout fundraiser this Saturday, March 11. They need volunteers to assist with scoring. If you are interested, reach out to Colleen Avallone at colleen@avallone.net 318-207-7289.
- LCP Parents are invited to attend the St. John Berchmans Silent Auction event “Lights, Camera, Auction!” scheduled for Saturday, April 15 at Artspace. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. and the main event starts at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite movie stars or characters. Click here for more information.
