- Spring Break is next week. Classes will resume on March 28th.
- This week SGA is honoring all the academic departments that make the academic excellence pillar of Loyola shine. Between Foreign Language, Religion, Arts, PE, and extra electives Loyola is filled with classes for everyone. If you see any of these teachers, give them a big "thank you".
- Track Meet Results - Congratulations to Erin Campbell, Kate Fortune, Emily G. Anderson, and Emmaline Drummond for 1st place in the 4x800 meter relay, Tripp Roemer 1st in the 1 mile, Aidan Heard 1st in the 2 mile and 2nd in the 1 mile, Tyler Hornsby, Mark Henry, Cole Adair and Tripp Roemer 2nd in the 4x800 meter relay, Erin Campbell 2nd in the 800, Tyler Hornsby 2nd in the 800, Izzy Black 3rd in high jump, Eli Baker 3rd in high jump at the Airline Viking Relays!
- Congratulations to the boys tennis team on their 6-0 win over Caddo Magnet yesterday. Sanders Graf, Brannigan Bissell, Emery Boniol, Patrick Goozsen, Charles Valiulis, Gregor Ghali, Bo Bowman, Stander Olsan and Collier White all won their matches. Mary Mars Elberson and Taylor Nash won their match for the girls.
- Come support LCP Baseball as they take on Byrd this Friday night at 6 PM at Cicero Field. While you're there, sign up for a chance to win a $100 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings or a $100 VISA gift. card.
- The varsity lacrosse team will be traveling to Alexandria this Saturday, March 19. They will be playing Isidore Newman at 1pm and Brother Martin at 4pm. Both games will take place at the LSU-A soccer field (8100 Hwy 71 South, Alexandria,LA 71302). Come out and support your Loyola Flyer Lacrosse Teams!
- SGA Elections … Prepare for Take-off! Attention students interested in running for an SGA office next year! An interest meeting for the Executive Board Candidates is Friday, March 18. An interest meeting for the Class Office Candidates will be Wednesday, April 6 during lunch in the Gym. Please check your email for the “Flight Plan” and more information on how you can run as a candidate.
- Rising 10th and 11th graders: increase your reading speed and comprehension, increase your writing, vocab, and textbook skills. Summer online Zoom classes are available, once a week for 6 weeks. Contact LSU Online and Continuing Education at 800-715-1498 to sign up.
- **Service Hour Opportunity with the American Red Cross**
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph's School will be hosting an alumni event and they need volunteers to help with setting up. Volunteers are needed to help move and set up tables at the Family Life Center at St. Joseph's School at 11:00 AM on April 23rd. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Kay Nader at kay.nader@gmail.com .
- Lunch Link for Meals the Week After Spring Break - Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 03.28 – 04.01.22 https://forms.gle/xWZcHJXH8aHgNvoN6 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
