Announcements for Tuesday, April 19 2022 - Today is an A day.- There will be a mandatory meeting for all students enrolling in AP Calculus AB for the 2022-2023 year. It will be Wednesday, April 20, 1st half of lunch in R301 (Mrs. Goodman's room).
- Dog House Gaming had a very successful Rocket League team first season. Our players finished in the top 40%. We placed #211 out of 754 high school teams across the United States. Varsity: Micah Strong, Andrew Kim, Miles Boniol. JV: Reese Jacobs, Joe Scott Please congratulate our players for all of their hard work when you see them.

- F.Ai.T.H is hosting a fundraiser called Kissing a Senior Goodbye. Students can buy a bag of candy including Hershey kisses and suckers for $1 to be delivered to the Seniors at their Awards Ceremony. The F.Ai.T.H chairmen will be in the cafeteria next week or outside for those interested in purchasing these goodies!
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 04.25-04.29.2022. https://forms.gle/KDqzCVPxS2moFTxt6 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- JV Cheerleader applications are now open for tryouts on Friday, April 29th. All applicants must attend the cheer clinic on Tuesday, April 26th and Wednesday, April 27th from 3:30 to 5:30.
- The Service Academy Day event for North Louisiana will be in Building H of Bossier Parish Community College from 8:30 AM to Noon on Saturday, April 30, 2022. All students interested in applying to any of the military service academies are encouraged to attend no matter what grade you are in now.
- The Sophomore Class is having a Dillas night on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 3-8 pm. A portion of these sales will go to the sophomore class. Please mention you are with Loyola when ordering.
- Applications for the Flyer Alumni Association and St. Vincent's Academy Alumnae Association are now being accepted for the 2022-23 school year. The application deadline for both scholarships is April 19. The scholarships are for current or incoming students who are children or grandchildren of St. John’s, Jesuit, Loyola, or St. Vincent’s Academy. Click here to apply.
- Athletic Physicals will be offered free of charge on April 23rd at 9:15 at Christus Outpatient Therapy on Line Ave. Anyone who plans to participate in athletics next year may attend. You will need to take the LHSAA Medical History Evaluation Form (physical form) with you. You can download that here - https://files.ecatholic.com/29158/documents/2021/5/Medical_Form.pdf Please see your coach for more information. Please note - all athletes must have a current physical on file with the school prior to participating in the first practice.
- This year's prom will be held April 23. Please join us in Snoopy's Secret Garden for an enchanted evening!! Prom will be at Loyola from 8 - 10:30. The dress is formal, You may bring a date from another school, but you must get a form from Coach Greene and have it filled out and turned in by Wednesday April 20. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Bissell in R-300. Prom tickets are on sale NOW!! Please go to My School Bucks or see Mrs Bissell in R-300. The tickets are $40 each.
- Southfield Field Day Volunteers - Students, if you signed up to volunteer through a link emailed directly to you, please note you must have a (C) average or better in all classes in order to participate. You will also need parent permission which may be emailed to Mrs. Watts at kwatts@loyolaprep.org .
- Service Hour Opportunity for former FBCS Students - First Baptist Church School needs volunteers to help out at field day on Friday, May 6th. You must have been an FBCS student and have a (C) average or better in all classes. You must also have parent permission. Parent permission may be emailed to Mrs. Watts at kwatts@loyolaprep.org . If you would like to volunteer, please sign up in the Loyola office.
- Service Hour Opportunity for former St. Mark's Students - St. Mark's Cathedral School Field Day 2022 is looking for volunteers for Friday, May 6th. You must have been an SMCS student and have a (C) average or better in all classes. You must also have parent permission. Parent permission may be emailed to Mrs. Watts at kwatts@loyolaprep.org . - Service Hour Opportunity - Community Renewal International is hosting its 22nd Annual Croquet Classic on Sat., April 30th from 8:00 am – 12:00 noon at LSUS and will need volunteers: At least 20 students needed for… runners, escorts, to give directions, keep score. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided for volunteers. - Service Hour Opportunity - St Joseph’s Catholic School is having an Alumni Fish Fry and we need help setting up for the event. The setup will be done on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 9:30 am.
