Flyer Day at Garden Park will be Wednesday, May 4th at 9111 Linwood Avenue in Shreveport. Meet under the covered patio, at 2:45pm, at the back of Garden Park to share our Flyer spirit with residents. Please bring room decorations and kind cards to brighten the residents' day. Also, feel free to show off your talents if you are an athlete, cheerleader, artist, or musician. Congratulations to the girls track team for winning back to back district championships! They scored 124 total points. The boys team got 2nd place overall witha score of 88 points! Alyssa Matriano Lim led the way for the girls with 22 points. Tripp Roemer led the way for the boys with 18 points.
JV Cheerleader applications are now open for tryouts on Friday, April 29th. All applicants must attend the cheer clinic on Tuesday, April 26th and Wednesday, April 27th from 3:30 to 5:30.
Service Hour Opportunity - The Gingerbread House Children's Advocacy Center needs volunteers on May 3rd for its Give for Good Carnival for Change at Riverpark Church. Service Hour Opportunity - Community Renewal International is hosting its 22nd Annual Croquet Classic on Sat., April 30th from 8:00 am – 12:00 noon at LSUS and will need volunteers: At least 20 students needed for… runners, escorts, to give directions, keep score.
