August 15, 2022Announcements for Monday, August 15, 2022 - Today is a B day. Welcome Back, Flyers! The first bell rings at 7:40 and the tardy bell rings at 7:45.
- There will be a student-led rosary in the Residence building chapel every Monday at 7:15 am beginning today. This is a beautiful way to start off the week and grow closer in prayer with your classmates and teachers. If you have any questions, please email Maeve Chmielewski at mchmielewski23@loyolaprep.org .
- Yearbook pictures for underclassmen will be Wednesday during homeroom. This year, we are asking students to wear their winter uniform for the yearbook. Students will need to arrive at school in (or bring) blazer, oxford shirt and tie. They are permitted to wear shorts and can change back into polos after the picture. There will be blazers available to borrow for the picture in case your blazer has been ordered but has not yet come in.
- The Loyola Cross Country Team is recruiting! Come run with us! We have practice available Monday - Thursday morning @ 5:15 am at Messmer and also Monday - Friday afternoon @ 2:45 pm at Loyola. We welcome all levels. Contact Coach Villalba mvillalba@loyolaprep.org
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 08.22-08.26.2022. https://forms.gle/LBUerQwYRi7drMBu6 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Make-up sessions for Tech Prep will be available today or tomorrow immediately after school. Limited spots available each day on a first come, first served basis.
- Service Hour Reminder - The deadline to turn in service hours earned over the summer is August 29th. Forms should be submitted in the office. No forms will be accepted via email.
- Everyone is invited to participate in our 4th annual "Run, Run, Snoopy 5K" on Saturday, August 27th at Loyola.

- Calling all senior parents! It’s hard to believe that that time is here already, it seems like just yesterday we were dropping them off at kindergarten! Immediately following Back to School night, please join us for a Style Show meeting in St Vincent Hall. Have all your FAQs answered about your “sharp dressed man” and your “material girl”. Legging warmers and shoulder pads, optional!
