August 17, 2021Announcements for Monday, August 17, 2021 - Today is a B day.
- There is a mask mandate in place statewide. Masks are required.
- The cafeteria will be open at 7:00 for those students who pre-ordered breakfast. There will be limited quantities available for walk-up purchase..
- Are you interested in running cross country for Loyola? If so, please see Coach Villalba or Coach Clark for more information. There will be a parent meeting this Thursday after Back to School Night in R201.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 8.23.2021-8.27.2021. https://forms.gle/pJRTgEXvD3QVFFEU7 The deadline to order meals for the week is Thursday at 4:00pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. Visit www.myschoolbucks.com to add money. Please verify funds are available before placing an order. **Orders are charged even if not picked up. **Orders must be placed from the student's Loyola Google account/email. If they are not sure how to do this, the student should stop by the Anderson Building with their iPad for assistance.
- Service hour opportunity for students! There will be a workday at Messmer Stadium this Saturday, August 21st, from 9 to 11am. - Loyola SGA will be hosting Line-Up and Sign-Up on August 23rd. This will be an opportunity to sign up for any LCP clubs that you are interested in! Today we would like to highlight a few. Contact [email protected] with any further questions about Line-Up and Sign-Up.
- E-Sports- Our organized competitive gaming club, "Dog House Gaming", is all about fun and good sportsmanship. Bring your skillz, bring your gear, and let's get that dub!
- FAiTH- FAiTH in Action - Aiding the less fortunate in our community at Christmastime with food baskets.
- Faith on Fire!- Faith on Fire! wants those students who are seeking authentic Christian Lives filled with excitement, joy and spirituality. This group is on fire and will engage in activities and service that reaches beyond the walls of Loyola bringing Christ to our Community! Past activities of this organization have included Bonfires, St. Joseph Altars, and hosting Trunk or Treating for children just to name a few! We live our faith boldly and we want you!
- FCA- The Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel. Be a part of that change, be a part of Loyola FCA!
- Flyers for Life- Flyers for Life is a Pro-Life organization who believes life is beautiful and deserves to be protected from conception until natural death.

- Important Parking Information - Please do not park on Cicero Drive in the morning during student drop-off. Cicero Drive is assigned student parking.
- Parents of New Students: Today you will be receiving an Allergy Assessment form through the "MySchoolPortal". This form asks you to list any allergies your student may have and to state whether your student has any sensitivities to pesticides. The form will need to be completed for every incoming student, even if they do not have allergies. Please complete the form by Tuesday, Aug. 31. - Back to School Night Wednesday 18th - Parents of Juniors and Seniors
We will gather in the gym at 5:30 program begins at 5:45. Please have access to your student's schedule.- Immediately following Senior/Junior Back to School Night on August 18th, all senior parents will meet in the cafeteria and all junior parents will meet in the gym to discuss important upcoming events for this school year. The LPA is looking forward to meeting with you!
- The Loyola 100 Club is accepting memberships currently through My School Bucks (see the link below). Your participation will help support our 2021 LCP Football Team so please consider joining.
