Announcements for Thursday, August 18, 2022 - Today is an A day.

Pipeline shirts are here! If you have ordered a shirt already, it will be delivered to your homeroom on Friday. If you would like to order one, please do so on MySchoolBucks. Shirts and sizes are limited, so order quickly!

There will be a Swim Team interest meeting in the cafeteria at 6:00 PM TONIGHT. Anyone who is interested in hearing about the plans for the season and how to get involved is encouraged to attend. In addition to increasing the number of swimmers on the team, a student manager is also needed. Information associated with that position will be shared as well.

F.Ai.T.H. will be having a Kona Ice fundraiser this Friday, the 19th, during lunch. You can bring cash or card to enjoy this wonderful treat! Prices range from $3.00 - $6.00.

The Loyola Cross Country Team is recruiting! Come run with us! We have practice available Monday - Thursday morning @ 5:15 am at Messmer and also Monday - Friday afternoon @ 2:45 pm at Loyola. We welcome all levels. Contact Coach Villalba [email protected]

Cell Phone Use: Students should not have any cell phones or air pods out in the hallway or classrooms for any reason. Once students enter the classroom they will put their cellphones in the designated area determined by the teacher. If a student leaves the classroom for any reason, his or her cell phone will remain in the classroom until the student returns. The only time students are permitted to have their cell phone out is during lunch.

Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 08.22-08.26.2022. https://forms.gle/LBUerQwYRi7drMBu6 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

Calling all senior parents! It’s hard to believe that that time is here already, it seems like just yesterday we were dropping them off at kindergarten! Immediately following Back to School night, please join us for a Style Show meeting in St Vincent Hall. Have all your FAQs answered about your “sharp dressed man” and your “material girl”. Leg warmers and shoulder pads, optional!

The LPA will soon be publishing a Student Directory. The information in the directory will include names, phone numbers, emails and addresses of students and parents. Please update your information in the Loyola My School Portal (Blackbaud) by Monday August 29. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the page and click Profile. Click the Edit button on any of the information tiles in the screen to update your contact info. If you would like to opt out of being included in the directory, you can click Settings, then click Privacy under the Account Settings and select the option you prefer under Directory Settings.
