August 25, 2022Announcements for Thursday, August 25, 2022 - Today is a B day.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 08.29.2022-09.02.2022. https://forms.gle/JT1w9fbEi1zYJdiA8 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Monday, August 29th is a Late Start Day. The first bell rings at 9:15 and the tardy bell rings at 9:20.
- Service Hour Opportunity - Volunteers are needed to work the concession stand at Messmer during the Northwood/Southwood/BTW Jamboree on Friday. Volunteers would need to arrive by 5:00 pm. If you are interested, please see Coach Greene.
- Due to high demand, Pipeline is doing a second shirt order! If you would like a Pipeline shirt, please purchase one on MySchoolBucks by Friday, August 26. Only students who order a shirt will receive one- we will not order extras.
- If your student ID is cracked or bent it will not work and you will be required to purchase a new one. As stated in a previous email, cases were not issued by the school this year. If you have a protective case (not school issued) you would like to use, you may do so, as long as it does not damage the ID. Replacement IDs are $22.00.
- Service Hour Reminder - The deadline to turn in service hours earned over the summer is August 29th. Forms should be submitted in the office. No forms will be accepted via email.
- Everyone is invited to participate in our 4th annual "Run, Run, Snoopy 5K" on Saturday, August 27th at Loyola.

Anime Club is a social club where students who enjoy watching anime can watch anime episodes during select lunchtimes. Students can also discuss their favorite shows with other students.
Art club 's goal is to use art to promote kindness, empathy, and compassion in both our school family and local community.
Drama Club is for the student who is interested in any aspect of theatre. If you are interested in acting, singing, dancing, assisting backstage, front of house, props, lighting, sound, direction, etc., Drama Club is for you!
LYRA - Take part in designing, editing, and publishing Loyola's literary and visual arts magazine. You don't have to be a writer or artist to help- we need editors, managers, readers, and graphic designers as well

Parent Announcements- LCP Rosary group will meet every Wednesday at noon in the Residence Hall Chapel beginning Wednesday September 7th. Parents of Loyola students are invited to join us. We also encourage students to pop in at their lunchtime to participate. Questions and/or intentions can be sent to LCProsary@gmail.com.
- The LPA invites all parents to their Back to School Get Together on Saturday, August 27 at Giuseppe's Pastacaffe, from 5-7 pm! We encourage new and seasoned families to attend this casual introduction to LPA and the many ways to get involved as a Loyola parent. This is also a great chance to get to know each other as we begin a new school year!

- To all New Parents:
- The LPA will soon be publishing a Student Directory. The information in the directory will include names, phone numbers, emails and addresses of students and parents. Please update your information in the Loyola My School Portal (Blackbaud) by Monday August 29. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the page and click Profile. Click the Edit button on any of the information tiles in the screen to update your contact info. If you would like to opt out of being included in the directory, you can click Settings, then click Privacy under the Account Settings and select the option you prefer under Directory Settings. Or you can contact the registrar at 226-6284 or cleone@loyolaprep.org.
