August 31, 2023Announcements for Thursday, August 31, 2023 - Today is a B day.
- Your Flyers take on the Captain Shreve Gators tonight at 7:00PM at Independence Stadium!
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 09.04.2023-09.08.2023. https://forms.gle/Q8txMR7QXP275xEa9 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Drama Club! If you signed up for Drama Club, there will be a meeting during the first half of lunch this Friday. Please come to Mr. Patton's classroom, B-2, at the start of lunch.
- School will be closed Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day.
- Tuesday, September 5th will be a Late Start Day. The first bell rings at 9:15 and the tardy bell rings at 9:20.
- Pipeline Shirts are on sale now for $23.00 each! The sale is running all the way through September 8th. Senior Madeline Lowe helped design the shirt! Purchase yours here!
- SGA is selling ‘Its a Great Year to be a Flyer’ Shirts, which are now available in My School Bucks until September 8th. Click here to order. The proceeds from this shirt will help defray the ticket costs and go towards our Winter Formal dance. Support SGA, get a cool T-Shirt, and lower the cost of your Winter Formal dance. It’s a triple-threat, so make sure and show your Flyer Pride!
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. John Berchmans School will be hosting its annual Monster Mash on Saturday, October 28th. They need volunteers from 2:00 - 7:00 PM to help with setup and clean-up. If you would like to volunteer, there is now a sign-up sheet in the front office. Please contact Leah Feldt at 318-423-7210 or [email protected] if you have any questions.
- Service Hour Opportunity - Be a volunteer on September 28th at the Holy Angels 42nd Annual TASTE: A Festival of Food and Art! Shifts vary throughout the day. Volunteers will receive one ticket to TASTE to enjoy the festivities before or after their volunteer shift. Volunteers must be 16 or older unless accompanied by a parent. Sign up here to volunteer!

- Senior Parents-If you were unable to attend the Style Show meeting that was held after BTSN, please ask your child for a folder that has important information. This folder will be given to them in Mrs. Franks class.
