September 22, 2021Today begins the International 40 DAYS FOR LIFE CAMPAIGN. This event joins millions in prayer to help save lives by praying for an end to abortion. Catholic teaching proclaims abortion as a means to ending life of the innocent unborn-a life that began at conception. Please go to 40daysforlife.com and click on Resources. A drop down menu will give you the choice "Devotionals." This will lead you to a calendar with daily prayers to be said for the next 40 Days.Please join us every day around the world to pray for an end to abortion.
Announcements for Wednesday, September 22, 2021 - Today is an A day.- There is a mask mandate in place statewide. Masks are required.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 09/27/21 – 10/01/21 https://forms.gle/4QnmF43Bzb1wjbK19 . The deadline to order meals for the week is THURSDAY at 4:00pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. Visit www.myschoolbucks.com to add funds. Please verify funds are available before placing an order. **Orders are charged even if not picked up. **
- College Visits this week: LA Tech at the end of 5th on Thursday. Interested Juniors and Seniors must register in Naviance.
- Saturday, September 25 will be Virtual Service Academy Day for all students and parents interested in learning more about our country's Military Service Academies. The event is virtual this year, so anyone interested please email Mrs. Alexander for a link to get registered. It will be held from 9am to 12 noon.
- Faith on FIre! Members, Yes, it is time for this fun group's first meeting! Bring your lunch and come to Room R204 TODAY at lunch. Meeting starts at 12;25pm. Lots to discuss.
- Kate Fortune is up for Athlete of the Week! Vote here to support your fellow Flyer!
- Service Hours Available - St. Joseph Catholic Church is in need of student volunteers for their Parish Picnic on Sunday, September 26th. Contact Lucy Medvec at [email protected] to sign up.
- Service Hours Available for helping at St. Mary of the Pines Blessing of the Animals/Vaccination Clinic on the afternoon Sunday October 3 should contact Mrs. Johnson to sign up.
- There will be a Key Club meeting Wednesday September 29th at 6 pm in the cafe. Check your email for the sign up sheet.
- Style Show tickets are on sale NOW! Senior seats and general seats will be available in Myschoolbucks. Sponsorship tables are available via check to the Anderson Building. If anyone has questions please email [email protected] Seniors must purchase Style Show t-shirts. The link to order is below (t-shirt link includes meal purchase for the practice on the day before the show). Shirts are available for underclassmen to purchase but it is not mandatory.
