- Art Club t-shirts will be sold until the end of the week. If you'd like to order one, please come to the art room for details and to see the design. The link to purchase one along with a picture of the design is also on myschoolbucks. These are available to everyone!
- Volunteers are still needed to help at the St. Mary of the Pines food booth at the Red River Revel on Saturday, Oct. 8. Two shifts are available: 10 am- 2 pm and 1:30 pm - 6 pm. Please email Fr. Raney Johnson by Wednesday, Oct. 5 if interested: fr.johnson@loyolaprep.org .
- St. Mark's Cathedral School invites all Loyola families to join us at the Paw Print Sprint! You can run or sign up as a phantom runner and receive the official race shirt. Use discount code: Loyola for a $20 entry!
- Tryouts for girls soccer will be held on October 10th at the Loyola Athletic Complex from 5:30-7:00pm. All players must have a current physical on file to try out.
- Interested in playing boys' soccer? Come try out for the Flyers soccer team Monday October 10th from 7-8:30 PM @ Messmer Athletic Complex. Please arrive early to check in with coaches inside the boys soccer locker room. Anyone trying out will need an updated physical before they can participate. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Coach Wes Kyle at wkyle@loyolaprep.org
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 10.10-10.14.2022 https://forms.gle/w4FUU5dT4vEw4rPz7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Mark’s is searching for volunteers to help at the Paw Print Sprint 5k
- Service Hour Opportunity - Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Shreveport needs volunteers for their Fall Festival on October 16, 2022 after Mass (10:30 - 3:00); Need volunteers for help with crafts, games, bounce house, cake walk and other festival activities. - Service Hour Opportunity - Christ United Methodist Church in Shreveport will be hosting field trips for Caddo Parish PreK- 2nd grade students during our Loyola Fall Break (October 21 & 24, 8:30 - 12:30 )and they are in need of volunteers. Activities they need help with: Crafts, filling mini pumpkin patch, games, loading and unloading children on hayride, leading groups from one activity to another, helping with science experiments, helping with snacks, helping clean; If you are interested, please contact Jen Lowe at jenlowe@hotmail.com .
Parent Announcements- Freshman Parents: If your child plans on attending the pre/post Homecoming activities please submit your reservations, so we can plan accordingly.
We should receive a form from every student, even if your student’s date is paying for the dinner, transportation, and breakfast.
