October 7, 2021Announcements for Thursday, October 7, 2021 - Today is an A day.
- There is a mask mandate in place statewide. Masks are required.
- FALL BREAK WILL BE NEXT MONDAY, OCTOBER 11TH AND TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12TH.
- STUDENTS WILL BEGIN WEARING THE FALL UNIFORM ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 25TH.
- The 2021 Homecoming Court will meet in Ms. Brown’s room R204 this Friday during lunch beginning at 12:30. This meeting is mandatory for members of the court. You may bring your lunch.
- Juniors and Seniors: upcoming college visits this month are University of Arkansas and Baylor on October 19, Notre Dame and University of Chicago on October 20, Ole Miss and Millsaps College on October 27 and TX A&M on October 28. Register in Naviance to attend.
- Golf Team News - Any boys or girls interested in participating on the Loyola golf team please email Coach Peyton and let him know @ [email protected]. Please include your cell phone number in the email. Also, all existing
team members please email Coach Peyton to let him know that you will once again be participating this Spring.

- Style Show t-shirts are on sale now on Myschoolbucks! The deadline to order your shirt is this Friday. Remember, it is mandatory for seniors to have one! Get your Style Show Sweepstakes Tickets today! They are $10 each or $100 for 11 tickets. They are available on Myschoolbucks, in the Anderson Building and at select home games.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 10.11.21 – 10.15.21. https://forms.gle/iUuKXRBd3xkRsRNY8 The deadline to order meals for the week is THURSDAY at 4:00pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students' Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
- The Loyola College Prep Blood Drive will be held Tuesday, October 19th from 8:00 - 2:00 pm. Register online here if you would like to donate - https://donor.lifeshare.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/228927 ; Donors must be at least 16 years old. ALL student donors will require parental permission. Permission slips may be downloaded here - https://www.lifeshare.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Minor-Donor-Permit-004-10.19.pdf . Our goal is 25 donors!
- Service Hours Available - Volunteers needed to help at the St. Mary of the Pines food booth at the Red River Revel on Saturday, Oct. 9. Two shifts are available: 10 am- 2 pm and 1:30 pm - 6 pm. Please email Fr. Johnson if interested: [email protected]
- St. John Berchmans Cathedral School needs student volunteers to help with its Monster Mash. - The Loyola 100 Club is looking for sponsors for the last 3 football home game tailgates. If anyone is interested in providing the main course, the Club will provide the sides, drinks and desserts.
