- Students will begin wearing the winter uniform on Monday. Students will not be allowed to borrow items from the uniform closet however, items may be purchased from the closet before or after school. We anticipate that the official Loyola sweatshirts will be in next week. Until then, students may wear the plain navy sweatshirt over their oxford and tie. Blazers must still be worn.

- Attention Senior Class Students and Parents: The deadline for ordering the Senior Style Show t-shirt is TODAY. ALL seniors wear this shirt to the practice at Bossier Civic Center on Wednesday, November 8th for their practice day. Attendance for practice that day is mandatory. - Happy Belly’s will be coming to Loyola TODAY and the proceeds will be going towards the Winter Formal dance, so please make sure and contribute so that SGA can make this year’s Winter Formal the BEST! Cash and card will be accepted.
- SGA will be distributing “It’s a Great Year to be a Flyer” shirts TODAY during lunch. If you ordered a shirt, please go to room B3 to collect it.
- SGA Junior Class is selling boo bags this week through Friday, October 20th for $2 CASH ONLY! Slips will be available in homeroom, and money and orders will be collected by the officers at lunch in the breezeway.
Want to win free Canes for a year? $5 a ball buys you the chance to throw a tennis ball during halftime at the game on October 20th. If your ball lands in the bucket on the field, you win free Canes chicken all year! Balls will be on sale on MySchoolBucks October 16-20th and before the game. *Please go to your homeroom, check-in, and head straight to the gym for practice.- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 10.16-10.20.2023. https://forms.gle/6wz5HD428JvGKB7e8 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- A representative from Northwestern State University and the Louisiana Scholars College will be on campus Monday, October 16 at 10:15. Juniors and seniors interested in attending this visit should register in Scoir. You must register at least 24 hours in advance to be excused from class.
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Mark’s is searching for volunteers to help at the Paw Print Sprint 5k

The carnival is Friday Oct. 20 from 4-7 p.m. Students can sign up for an hour-long shift by texting/calling Mrs. Lane King at 318-470-3355
- Service Hour Opportunity - The department of multicultural ministries is having their first diocesan event, and it is the Family Picnic this coming Saturday, October 14th at the Catholic Center. This is a great opportunity for service hours! The picnic is from 2-6 pm and free food and drinks will be provided to the volunteers. If interested in volunteering, please contact Amanda Ortiz at aortiz@dioshpt.org .
