Attention Sophomores: Since 1958, Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership, HOBY Seminar has provided transformative leadership development training that has positively impacted the lives of over 500,000 high school students around the world. At the seminars, students enjoy an interactive process where they participate with community leaders from various sectors such as business, technology, education, government, arts, and science. HOBY participants get a realistic look at their nation, its people and their role in the world community while meeting people their age from all over the state. If you are interested in applying for this opportunity, please see Mrs. Hodges or Ms. Hymel for an application. All applications will be due to Ms. Hymel by Wednesday, October 26.
Swim Team News - The Flyers returned to their practice grounds on October 8th for the season's second YMCA High School Invitational. The Men's team, led by Gus Nicolosi's double 1st Place 50/100 Freestyle finishes, placed 7th out of the 14 present teams.
F.Ai.T.H. will be hosting a Kona Ice fundraiser next Wednesday during lunch. Please make sure to support us! Prices range from $3-$6.
Did you know that the Rosary is a way to enter into the mysteries of Jesus through Mary? The Rosary is a means of drawing closer to Our Lord and you do NOT have to be Catholic to pray the rosary or to receive the many blessings of doing so. The Rosary Group invites you to come and learn and pray with us on Wednesdays at noon. We meet in the office and walk over to the Residence Hall around 12:10 and it only takes about 15-20 minutes to complete! Any questions or prayer requests can be sent to LCProsary@gmail.com.

Students will begin wearing Winter Uniforms when they return from Fall Break on Tuesday, October 25. The Loyola Uniform Closet is located in the Anderson Building and is accessible to all students and parents during regular school hours. Blazers are $20 and all other uniforms, including pants, skirts, ties, Oxford shirts and spirit shirts are $2 each. The closet also has a large assortment of apparel for most Loyola sports teams and many clubs. Donations of both new and gently used uniforms are welcome at any time. Senior Parents, don't forget that your student will need a blazer for the Style Show.
