October 26, 2021Announcements for Tuesday, October 26, 2021 - Today is a B day.
- There is a mask mandate statewide. Masks are required.
- A ring was found at the dance. Please see Mrs. Watts in the office if you think it may be yours.
- A student lost a girl's class ring at the dance. If found, please return it to the office
- A student lost a navy blue window pane Brooks Brothers men's blazer at the dance. If found, please return it to the office.
- Style Show Groups 9 & 10 have practice Tuesday, October 26th, in the gym, from 9:20 – 10:50. Please remember to check-in with your homeroom teacher before coming to practice.
- Garden Park sessions will be held Wednesdays right after school in Ms. Barker's class R203. We will be chatting with the elderly residents via Zoom, writing cards, and making festive decorations. The residents look forward to seeing us all week, so we hope to see you there.
- Faith on Fire! Members, do not forget to sign up for the October 31st Trunk or Treat at St. Elizabeth's. The sign up sheet is on the Faith on Fire! Bulletin board next to room R204. Deadline to sign up is TODAY at the end of the school day. More information about the event is posted on the bulletin board. Faith on Fire! Members, This Thursday October 28th at 7pm Cinemark is having a special showing of the movie Purgatory. Mr. Villalba has secured a limited number of tickets for sale to our group. He and Ms. Brown will meet the students at 6:40PM for the show. If interested email Ms. Brown asap. First come, first serve. Tickets are 13 dollars and must be paid to Mr. Villalba or Ms. Brown by the end of the day Wednesday.
- Juniors and Seniors:
Wednesday visits are with Ole MIss and Millsaps College (Jackson MS). Thursday, we Zoom visit with Texas A&M.- The Loyola College Prep Drama Club presents “Ordinary People." The play opens on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at The Catholic Center Auditorium. Additional performances are Saturday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 31 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are available online for $7 and $10 at the door.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 11.01.21 –11.05.21.https://forms.gle/Au5RRSJ3jCHTnfij7 . Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. The deadline to order meals for the week is THURSDAY at 4:00pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the student's Loyola Google account/email.
