November 14, 2022Announcements for Monday, November 14, 2022 - Today is a B day.
- FAiTH needs your help! Do you remember the excitement of opening up a new toy on Christmas morning? FAiTH wants to help hundreds of children experience that same excitement and joy! We are hosting a TOY DRIVE COMPETITION! The homeroom that brings in the most number of toys will win gift cards for a Cane's box combo AND a Dilla's Quesadilla!!! The second place homeroom will win a Cane's box combo. In order to win, there must be a minimum of 1 toy turned in per student in the homeroom.
- The lunch link will be out later this week.
- SGA is hosting a Thanksgiving food drive from Monday, November 14th through Friday, November 18th. The donations will be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church to be distributed through their food pantry. We are asking for the below items to be placed in cardboard boxes that will be located outside of the office and the breezeway between the Main Building and the Residence Building.

5. Peanut Butter

7. Pasta

The Loyola Drama Club has changed the dates of the fall drama, "Proof," at the St. John's Multi-Room at 939 Jordan St in Shreveport. The new dates are:- Friday, November 18th 7:00pm
Sunday November 20th 2:00pm
Tickets are $8 if purchased online or $10 at the door

Price is $4 online and $5 at the door.- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph Catholic Church is holding its annual St. Nick's Feast and Gumbo Cook-off on Saturday, December 3, and is seeking volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please register on the sign-up genius page for the event. Here is the link:

- Toy drive competition between the homerooms to benefit FAiTH. For details see the student announcements section.
- The Loyola Tennis team is hosting a Mixer on Saturday, November 19th at Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club. All parents, students, alumni and friends are invited to play. The cost is $80 for adults and $40 for students. This includes a burger bar, drinks, live music, the LSU game on TV and a fun night of tennis. Even if you don’t play tennis you can purchase a social pass for $40 and watch an exhibition from the Loyola tennis team.
