The Boys Soccer Team started their season strong this week beating West Ouachita in their season opener Monday night 8-0.Freshman Holt Hamilton and Senior Tyler Hornsby both had hat tricks while Senior Henry Hoang and Sophomore Mathis Stanberry each added a goal. The team then defeated North Caddo Tuesday night 9-0. Flyer goals included those from Tyler Hornsby with his second straight hat trick of 3 goals and Zeke Savant, Graham Kyle, Mark Henry, Mathis Stanberry, Henry Hoang, and Oscar Berry all contributing goals as well! Our boys will play again on Friday in Alexandria at the Pineville Rebel Cup. Good luck, Flyers!

Simply click the yearbook tab at the bottom of your images, then the image you would like us to use and then click save.

Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

Loyola College Prep is hosting a Veterans’ Celebration TODAY - 9:20 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. at Cathedral Of St. John Berchmans. Loyola students will honor our veterans with a Mass, guest speaker and music. There will be a reception following in St. Vincent’s Hall. This celebration is for all parents, family members, alumni and community members.
The Knights of Columbus will sponsor the first ever Diocese of Shreveport Priests vs Seminarians basketball game
All funds raised for this event will support our seminarians. Tickets for the game are $5.00 each.
Children 10 and under are admitted free. The game will be held on Saturday, December 16th. Times are 10-12 at the Loyola College Prep gym. Concessions will be available at the event. Fr. Raney Johnson, our Diocesan Vocations Director, will be hosting a Quo Vadis Vocations Retreat for young men in high school in the Diocese of Shreveport. The retreat is in Shreveport on December 9th and 10th. Please share this information with the high school aged young men in your parish. Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph Church will be offering “Nativity Nights” Friday nights in December, 5-8 PM, during the advent season to engage kindergarten through 5th graders in the faith. Dinner will be served, and they will have games, activities, and crafts to involve each child in the true meaning of the season. Service Hour Opportunity - Mary’s Workers Seminarian Bake Sale is coming up November 18th & 19th. All proceeds will go to our Seminarians. You can earn 2 service hours by providing baked goods for sale. Any baked goods should be decorated, wrapped, and labeled. If you are bringing baked goods, the days and times for delivery are as follows: • Saturday (11/18) from 1 pm until 4 pm, (you can deliver bake sale items to the gathering space in the back of church). • Sunday (11/19) 30 minutes prior to each Mass, (you can deliver bake sale items to the back of the church). Service Hour Opportunities - The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is partnering with Sportspectrum for the annual Turkey Trot run on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd. We need volunteers the week of Thanksgiving to help with race registrationand packets at Sportspectrum. We will also need volunteers at the event Thanksgiving morning.

Loyola Rosary Group - All are welcome to join the Rosary Group on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm to pray for the needs and intentions of our school: our students, their families, the faculty, and administration. Please consider lifting our school in prayer and join us for one, several or all gatherings on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm.
