The school play, 12 Angry Jurors, opens TONIGHT at The Catholic Center. Performances Thursday and Friday are at 7:30 PM, and a Saturday matinee at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $8.00 in advance on Gofan and $10.00 at the door.
FAiTH will be holding a competition between the homeroom classes! ALL this week we will be collecting toys for Santa to hand out on FAiTH Day next Monday. Please bring NEW and unwrapped toys for both girls and boys, ages 1-15. Suggestions include: baby dolls, board games, basketballs, footballs, and soccer balls. Think of all of the fun toys you played with at that age and pay it forward! The winning homeroom will get a free Dillas card and a free Canes meal card. In order for a homeroom to win, there must be at least 1 toy turned in person, in that homeroom. Spread joy this Christmas season!!! Bring toys to your homeroom teacher!!!
The Boys Soccer team defeated the Ruston Bearkats Tuesday night 7-1 with goals from Tyler Hornsby (2), Casey Wall, Jackson Silmon, Joe Scott, Zeke Savant and Oscar Berry. The team will travel down south to compete in the Copa Acadiana this weekend and will take on Archbishop Hannan, New Iberia and Parkview Baptist.
Boys Basketball (FR/JV) tonight vs. Mansfield at home beginning at 5:30PM.
There will be an important Art Club meeting today during the second half of lunch in B1. We will be finalizing our elf plans for Christmas. All members, please plan to attend.

Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 12.04-12.08.2023. https://forms.gle/NJKuTi2dJKmde75SA- The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

The Knights of Columbus will sponsor the first ever Diocese of Shreveport Priests vs Seminarians basketball game
All funds raised for this event will support our seminarians. Tickets for the game are $5.00 each.
Children 10 and under are admitted free. The game will be held on Saturday, December 16th. Times are 10-12 at the Loyola College Prep gym. Concessions will be available at the event. Fr. Raney Johnson, our Diocesan Vocations Director, will be hosting a Quo Vadis Vocations Retreat for young men in high school in the Diocese of Shreveport. The retreat is in Shreveport on December 9th and 10th. Please share this information with the high school aged young men in your parish. Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph Church will be offering “Nativity Nights” Friday nights in December, 5-8 PM, during the advent season to engage kindergarten through 5th graders in the faith. Dinner will be served, and they will have games, activities, and crafts to involve each child in the true meaning of the season. Loyola Rosary Group - All are welcome to join the Rosary Group on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm to pray for the needs and intentions of our school: our students, their families, the faculty, and administration. Please consider lifting our school in prayer and join us for one, several or all gatherings on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm.
