Overview
Flyers Aiding the Hungry (F.Ai.T.H.) is a student-inspired and organized effort at Loyola College Prep that began in 1989. One of the most special days at Loyola, F.Ai.T.H. Day gives students the opportunity to feed disadvantaged families in the Shreveport-Bossier community a holiday meal while showing the love of Jesus Christ.
Supported by fundraisers, donations and basket sales, the F.Ai.T.H. organization sponsors F.Ai.T.H Day each year. Chairmen and officers join over 60 percent of the Loyola students in distributing baskets of food for families who attend this special distribution day. Santa Claus also makes an appearance to hand out toys to children!
Through partnerships with area businesses, local elementary schools and middle schools and the generosity of our many Loyola families and alumni, F.Ai.T.H. has been able to serve over 20,000 families in our community.
