Loyola is proud to announce Ravi Ahuja as the Student of the Year for the 2024-25 Academic Year! Finalists included Carter Doyal, Evan Lirette, Fritze Olsan, and Olivia Ostendorff.
“Ravi is a true representation of our mission ‘a man for others,’” Principal John LeBlanc said. “He excels academically and is a model student in the classroom. He is involved in clubs and athletics at school as well as all of the community work he does locally and abroad. Ravi is humble and kind, and we are proud to see him compete in the next level of competition.”
Ravi is president of the Key Club and the Business Club, a member of National Honor Society and F.Ai.T.H., an orientation leader and a four year member of the tennis team.
Each year the faculty nominates five finalists who are then interviewed by the Student of the Year Committee. These students are all class leaders, excel academically, and exhibit Loyola’s three pillars: student involvement, academic excellence, and faith in action.
Ravi will go on to compete at the district level and hopefully advance to the regional and state competitions. Students are required to submit a comprehensive portfolio, conduct another round of interviews, and are judged on leadership activities, recognition, service and citizenship.
