Loyola College Prep is pleased to announce that Senior English teacher, Mrs. Anna Beth Clark, will be the new Director of College Placement. Mrs. Glad Alexander, the current Director of College Placement, will retire this summer, and will work closely with Mrs. Clark over the summer to make the transition seamless for students and parents.
Mrs. Clark is a 2007 graduate from Loyola and received her B.A. in English from Rhodes College and her Master of Liberal Arts from LSUS. Mrs. Clark is passionate about our school, our students, and their success in college. Next school year she plans to hold a college admission essay workshops for students and recommendation letter workshops for teachers.
“I hope to provide all students at Loyola with an easy and painless college admissions process, and I believe that this starts with my work with freshmen,” she said. ”I want students and their families to feel comfortable coming to me with questions, both small and large, and trust that I have their best interest in mind. I see my role as helping them reap all the benefits of their hard work.”
Mrs. Alexander and Mrs. Clark will soon reach out to the incoming Seniors regarding college placement meetings soon.
