LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 03.24.2025-03.28.2025. https://forms.gle/9MogEGDtQ7SG2Htw9 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
DRESS DOWN DAY: Dress down day this Friday, March 21st, students must pay at least $5. All proceeds will go to helping the senior civics classes with their community service projects
STATE RALLY: State Rally Qualifiers - Please stop by the Anderson Building to pick up your letter and permission form by the end of the day.
LACROSSE: Loyola Lacrosse Team Dominates Caddo Magnet in 13-5 Victory. The defense continued its season-long strong performance putting on another clinic. Offensively, Thomas Moore led the charge with 5 goals, while Holland Marrs and Fatte Ivy each contributed 3 goals apiece. Charles Pippin scored 2 goals and 2 assists, and Jackson Thrasher recorded 2 assists. Goalie Wyatt Lofton made 5 saves, and Brennen Keneker excelled in the face-off circle, winning 9 out of 13 attempts.
ORIENTATION STUDENT LEADERS: The Orientation Student Leader application is now open and it should be completed by Sunday, March 23rd at 5pm. Interviews will begin the following week.

SGA: SGA is hosting a contest for the most neat, complex, and appealing origami creation this week. The winner will receive $50 for their work. Simply leave a submission on the table in the hallway of the first floor with your name written on the paper to submit your entry.
JUNIORS: Attention Juniors who served as a FAiTH officer this year: If you are interested in applying to be a FAiTH Chairman for the 36th year of FAiTH, please pick up an application from Ms. Hymel. THe deadline for returning applications is Wednesday, March 28th.
SENIOR PARENTS: The deadline for Casino Night reservation/donation/volunteer is Friday, April 11. Tickets for the party are $110 per senior. This includes all food, drinks, entertainment and prizes. Checks should be made payable to Loyola Parents’ Association, with Casino Night in the memo section. Please submit the reservation form sent to your email with payment to the school office.
SIGNING CEREMONY: Come support Ainsley Matlock this Friday at lunch in the gym as she commits to playing soccer for ETBU.
SNOOPY SHOOTOUT: – Take your best shot! Snoopy Shootout is a benefit for the Flyer Alumni Association, and it will take place on Saturday, March 22 from 7:30 am to 12 pm, at the Shreveport Gun Club!
This event will be a five-person team format, and individuals participating will be assigned to a team. The range fee is $500 per team or $100 per individual.

ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP: Don't forget! The Flyer Alumni Association and the St. Vincent's Academy Alumnae Association scholarship applications are now open!
The application deadline for both scholarships is March 27, 2025.

REGISTRATION: Registration for the 2025-2026 school year has begun. Please make sure your account has been created in FACTS in order to start the registration process. The link for information to create the FACTS Family Portal account is: https://factsmgt.com/
The deadline to register is Monday, March 17. After that date, the registration fee will increase to $500.
LA GATOR: **New 2025-2026 School Choice Funding Opportunity through the State of Louisiana, LA Gator**
Student applications for the 2025-2026 school year will open on March 1 and will be available at lagator.la.gov. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2025.
Prepare in advance and check your eligibility by reviewing the LA GATOR eligibility requirements to ensure you qualify and use the eligibility pre-screener to check your status.
SENIOR SEND OFF SPONSORSHIPS (For All Seniors): The last day to purchase a sponsorship will be Friday, March 21. There are only 13 seniors still looking for a sponsor.

STUDENT LEAD ROSARY: Student-led rosary every Tuesday at 7:15 am in the St. Michael Chapel. All students, faculty, and parents are welcome.
PARENT ROSARY: Loyola Parent Rosary Group will meet to pray the rosary every Wednesday at 1:30pm in St. Michael's Chapel. All parents are welcome to attend. Also, please email [email protected] with any prayer requests or questions.
SHIP: Support for Humanitarianism through Intercontinental Projects (SHIP) through LSU Health Shreveport will be hosting Pre-Med Day for high school students on Sunday, April 13th, 2025. Attached is a flyer with further information about the event.
SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES:
GARDEN PARK:Garden Park meets every Wednesday, from 3 pm - 4 pm, at 9111 Linwood Avenue. Each week we participate in different and fun activities with the residents of Garden Park. For more information on this service hour opportunity, please contact Ms. Barker.
ST. JOSEPH’S ALTAR: St. Joseph Church is hosting our St. Joseph Altar on Sunday, March 23rd. We need baked goods for the dessert table. The dates and times for delivery are as follows. We are asking for cakes, cookies, brownies, and dessert bars. If you donate items, please bring them disposable pans and make sure they are sealed well. Also, label the items and note if there are any types of nuts in your dessert.
Thursday, March 20, 2025 – Desserts can be dropped off at the church office between 9 AM –
4 PM.
Saturday, March 22, 2025 – Desserts can be dropped off at the Family Life Center from 12 noon until 3 PM.
Sunday, March 23, 2025 – Desserts can be dropped off at the St. Joseph Altar which will be set up in the Family Life Center. If you bring them on Sunday, please try to have them there by 10:30 am.

CADDO COUNCIL ON AGING: Volunteer to help at a Brunch and Bingo event benefiting Meals on Wheels on March 22 from 9:45 am - 1:30 pm at East Ridge Country Club. Students must wear their uniform or uniform bottoms with a school spirit shirt. Please contact Janet Pringle by March 14th at (318) 458-2196 if you want to volunteer.
GREENWOOD CLEANUP DAY: The Town of Greenwood is coming together with Louisiana for "Love the Boot Week", which is Louisiana's largest litter removal and beautification effort. Citizens, volunteers, and law enforcement within the town along with town leaders, are volunteering their time on April 5, beginning at 8am to do an "outside-In" clean-up effort of the town. We will begin on the outskirts and work toward the center of town where we will all meet and fellowship at William Peter's Town Park.
