LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 04.14.2025-04.18.2025. https://forms.gle/frZuM4PKFaR1acQ4A - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the student’s Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
JV CHEER: If you are interested in trying out for JV Cheer at Loyola, please email Coach Andy at [email protected] to learn more about this year's program. You must contact him by Monday, April 14th.

CLASS RINGS: Juniors can start bringing their rings to Mrs. Pitre in the Anderson Bldg. They will be secured until the ceremony. Please bring the rings by 4/17/25.
PROM: Tickets will go on sale today at 3pm. The tickets will be $50. The prom is April 26th from 8-10pm at the Remington Suites. Valet parking is included in the ticket price. Tickets can be purchased at the following link: https://gofan.co/event/3499005?schoolId=LA23475
FOOTBALL: Anyone who did not play football this past year, but wants to play next season needs to talk to Coach Sella. It is time to plan for equipment for next year.
FCA: The last FCA meeting of the year is this Thursday @7:20am in the Cafeteria. There will be donuts for breakfast and election information!
LACROSSE: The varsity Loyola Lacrosse team will be celebrating our Seniors at our last home game this Thursday, April 10th at 7:00pm against Parkway. Come support your Flyers at Messmer stadium! Tickets are available through our GoFan website. Click HERE to purchase tickets!!
SPANISH II: Students in Spanish 2 are having a jeep parade competition, yes you heard that right! Go by the first floor of the main building to see the projects and vote. The winner will receive a prize. Please use the form below to vote for your favorite. Last day to vote will be this Thursday 4/10.
SENIOR PARENTS: The deadline for Casino Night reservation/donation/volunteer is Friday, April 11. Tickets for the party are $110 per senior. This includes all food, drinks, entertainment and prizes. Checks should be made payable to Loyola Parents’ Association, with Casino Night in the memo section. Please submit the reservation form sent to your email with payment to the school office.
STUDENT LEAD ROSARY: Student-led rosary every Tuesday at 7:15 am in the St. Michael Chapel. All students, faculty, and parents are welcome.
PARENT ROSARY: Loyola Parent Rosary Group will meet to pray the rosary every Wednesday at 1:30pm in St. Michael's Chapel. All parents are welcome to attend. Also, please email [email protected] with any prayer requests or questions.
SHIP: Support for Humanitarianism through Intercontinental Projects (SHIP) through LSU Health Shreveport will be hosting Pre-Med Day for high school students on Sunday, April 13th, 2025. Attached is a flyer with further information about the event.
SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES:
EASTER EGG HUNT: Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is having the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12th from 10am - 12pm. SActivities needing volunteers include face painting, guiding the Easter egg hunters, leading games, passing out prizes, and passing out snacks. Volunteers should bring their service hour sheet with them. Students willing to serve are asked to please contact April Eubanks at 221-8411 extension 15001 or Sharlot Cooper at 221-8411 extension 15006. Set up is at 8 a.m. on the east side of the medical center.

SJB VBS: Looking for Mountains of Fun! Volunteer for the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans VBS - True North, Trusting Jesus in a wild world. June 2nd - 6th 2025 8:00 am - 1:00 pm Volunteers are required to attend each day of VBS to help children learn in a fun creative way how we can Trust Jesus in all things. Volunteers can earn up to 20 plus hours, beginning on May 30, 2025, with orientation and volunteering the entire week of VBS.

SJS: Sporting clay tournament at the Shreveport Gun Club to benefit St. Joseph School. Volunteers are needed the day of the event, Saturday May 17. The times for volunteers would be from 11am-1pm.The duties would include calculating scores and picking up spent hulls and signage after the tournament has ended. GARDEN PARK: There will not be a Garden Park visit next week because it is Holy Week.
The following days are the last Garden Park visits of the school year.

Garden Park meets every Wednesday, from 3 pm - 4 pm, at 9111 Linwood Avenue. Each week we participate in different and fun activities with the residents of Garden Park. For more information on this service hour opportunity, please contact Ms. Barker.
DOG OUT DAY: Volunteer to walk dogs at Bossier Animal Shelter. Our goal is for every dog to get a walk. Experience is not required. Both big and small dogs are available for walks. You may attend either or both dates. You are welcome to come for part of the time if you can’t do the whole time. The dates and times are April 10th, 2025, 11:30 to 3:30 and April 19th, 2025, 10:00 to 3:00. Anyone over 18 can participate on their own.
