- Junior Boys interested in applying for LA Boys State are to submit your 2 essays to Mrs. Alexander no later than this Friday morning, Jan. 21. Essay prompts were in the email sent January 5. Questions, see or email Mrs. Alexander.
- Basketball - Girls and boys basketball home games vs. North Webster tonight starting at 6.
- Soccer - Girls soccer plays North Desoto at North Desoto tonight beginning at 6. The boys game follows at 7:45.
- Note the date change - FAITH ON FIRE! Members, we will meet in the second half of the homeroom period on WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 19TH. Please make a note to be in attendance. We have some important planning to do.
- A rep from the School of Pharmacy at ULM will visit here Wednesday, (end of 5th period) with any interested junior or senior. Sign up in Naviance.
- If you are in need of a service hour, then stop by R203 Wednesday 19th right after school. The theme for our Garden Park Zoom call will be Favorite Type of Art. We will also be creating our own art and writing letters to residents. For more information, please contact Ms. Barker. We hope to see you there!
- Service Hour Opportunity Tonight - Two students are needed to work the concession stand at the basketball games tonight. Volunteers would need to arrive by 5:30PM. Please contact Ms. Kral at [email protected] if interested.
- Service Hour Opportunity - The Krewe of Atlas is looking for volunteers to help with preparations for their Grande Ball. They need help setting up tablescapes and they will also need stage hands on Thursday, January 20th and Friday, 21st, beginning right after school until 5:00PM at the Shreveport Convention Center. If you are interested in helping, please contact Kelly McCain at 318-655-3404.
- PreMed Day at LSUHSC is designed to give students an opportunity to get a preview of what it is like to be a medical student.
PreMed Day for high school students is January 23rd and attendance is $100, which includes lunch. High school students can register for Pre-med Day on SHIP’s website, https://www.shipcaresla.org/copy-of-2018-high-school-pre-med-wo- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 1.24.22 - 1.28.22. https://forms.gle/CqpqQEE14Ye8VapF7 The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
- Parents: Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is open. The registration fee will remain at $300 if registering before the deadline of March 15. Financial aid applications are also due at this time. A letter to parents will be sent soon with further details.
