It's that time of the year! It is the week we celebrate the special role catholic schools play in the world, in our nation, in our local community and in our own lives. Catholic schools have a great impact in this world and each day we will celebrate people that benefit from and contribute to catholic school education! Today, we celebrate our community. Loyola celebrates the Shreveport/Bossier area by kicking off a School Supplies Drive for schools in need in our community. Loyola is a catholic school that strives to form students of conscience, character and compassion. Now, we apply all that has formed us here to help build up our community- a community that has supported our school for over a century! A supply list has been emailed to all students, faculty and teachers. Please bring supplies to any homeroom and leave your items in the boxes provided by the Loyola Parents Association. The drive will continue through Thursday of this week. If the Loyola Community reaches its goal of collecting all items on the list, a special "thank you" is planned on February 16th for students and faculty! So, bring in those items! Students, do not forget to wear your buttons for National Catholic Schools Week! You never know who may be on the hunt to reward your Catholic Schools' Week spirit. Announcements for Monday, January 30, 2023 - Today is an A day.
