- Students should be in full uniform today.
- Senior students will be selling Valentine Treat Bags at lunch for $2. These will be delivered to students on Feb. 13. See Ms. Franks for more details.
- There will be a quiz bowl meeting during the first half of lunch today concerning the national championship competition. All members interested in competing are encouraged to attend.
- Soccer Playoffs - The boys and girls teams are both advancing to the next round! The girls will play Pope John Paul II Tuesday the 13th at 5:00PM at Messmer. The boys will play Tuesday the 13th at 5:00PM at Ascension Episcopal. Let's keep it going, Flyers! Tickets for home games may be purchased on GoFan! Reminder - per LHSAA regulations, students DO NOT get in free and season passes are not valid for playoffs.
- LYRA is accepting submissions for original art, poetry, and music. If you are an artist or an author, submit your work to [email protected].
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 02.12-02.16.2024. https://forms.gle/7wbCGkrLJd3uFuSk7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Job Opportunities - Geaux Swim located at 231 Mt. Zion Road, Shreveport, LA - the newest indoor pool in the city is looking for swim instructors and lifeguards for after school and weekends and especially during the summer. - There will be a youth night for all high schoolers from 6:00pm- 7:15pm on Wednesday, February 21st in the SJB parish hall. It will be a night of fellowship, food, and lots of fun. There's going to be games, food, time to meet other students!
- Saturday, March 2, 2024 there will be a Diocesan Youth Summit at the Catholic Center from 10am- 6:30pm. The summit is open to all high school students.
- Students may register by dropping off the attached Diocese Consent/Liability Waiver and Event Forms to Melisa Jimenez at the St. John Berchmans church office or email the forms to [email protected] . Please contact Melisa with any questions at 318-221-5296 ext. 116.

- SGA is holding the Winter Formal at EastRidge Country Club on February 10th. Tickets are $30 and can now be purchased via the link. Purchase tickets here!
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. John Berchmans is looking for reliable student volunteers for their Vacation Bible School - Scuba, Divining into Friendship with God from Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 7th.
- Service Hour Opportunity - Volunteers are needed for the Spring Luncheon for the Catholic Women's League. The event will take place in the parish hall at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church at 4746 Lyba Street on Tuesday, March 12th. This is during LCP spring break. Volunteers will be needed from 10:30 - 1:30. If you are interested in signing up to help, please contact Cherie at [email protected] .
