February 22, 2022Announcements for Tuesday, February 22, 2022 - Today is a B day.
- The lacrosse team will kick off their regular season beginning this Tuesday, February 22 at 6:00 when the JV team takes on Byrd at Messmer Stadium. Admission is $5 and Loyola students get in free with ID.
On Saturday, February 26 the JV team will take on the Renegades at 12:00 followed by the Varsity playing their first game of the season at 2:00 at South Bossier Fields. Come out and support your Loyola Flyers lacrosse teams this season!
- Yesterday, the Flyers baseball team won their opening game against Zwolle 6-0 with William Soignier striking out 13. Konnor O'Neal and Parker Thomas each had two hits and Loyola didn't commit any errors in the field. Great job, Flyers!
- Rising 10th, 11th, and 12 graders: interested in learning more about medical health professions? AHEC of a Summer can give you that, plus 1/2 credit in elective science, and almost 100 hours of community service and CPR certification. Apply with all required materials by March 4. - Service Hour Opportunity - Mary’s House of Louisiana is requesting 2 students every Tuesday evening for the next few weeks from 5:45-8 pm to assist with childcare. Please contact Marci Moore at 903-926-2017 or [email protected] if interested in service hours!
- The LPA will host its monthly meeting Wednesday, February 23rd at the Catholic Center (3500 Fairfield Ave.) at 12:00. The LPA hopes to see you there!
- Trivia Night is back! Don’t forget to register your team for this fun LPA event on March 5 in St. Vincent’s Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. and trivia starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and include dinner and trivia. Deadline to register is 2/18/22 Get your team of 10 together and register by clicking here!
