March 2, 2022Announcements for Wednesday, March 2, 2022 - Today is a B day.
- Congrats to Micah Strong and Tristian Dupuis for placing 9th out of 90 teams on Saturday at the North LA Fishing League Tournament at Toledo Bend.
- Loyola played a district double header last night against Mansfield winning both games 15-0. William soignier struck out 8 facing 10 batters in game one. Gavin Brint went 2-2 in game two with Garritt Belanger and Konnor ONeal pitching.
- The boys tennis team defeated Evangel 3-2 yesterday. Ravi Ahuja, Gregor Ghali, Bo Bowman and Tripp Roemer won their matches. The girls team defeated Evangel 2-1 with Julia Hancock and Katelyn Pavlick winning their matches. The tennis team plays North Webster Thursday.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 03.07.2022 – 03.11.2022. https://forms.gle/Y9vPySpawXrKoWKw7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
- On Friday, March 4, during Homeroom, Loyola will start holding student-led spiritual groups called St. Ignatius Community Groups. Come and join your fellow students to pray together and create a community centered on Jesus Christ. - ACT Boot Camps:
When: Saturday, March 5
Time: 12 pm until 3:00 pm
Location: CE Byrd Learning Center

*Another is scheduled for March 12th at CE Byrd from 9 am until 12 noon.
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph's School will be hosting an alumni event and they need volunteers to help with setting up. Volunteers are needed to help move and set up tables at the Family Life Center at St. Joseph's School at 11:00 AM on April 23rd. - Service Hour Opportunity - Southfield School's Pie Run will be Saturday, March 5. They have several slots to fill including turn marshals, set up/breakdown, packet pick up and water stops. Volunteer opportunities are open to any student who would like to help and/or needs service hours. Sign up in the link below:

- Trivia Night is back! Don’t forget to register your team for this fun LPA event on March 5 in St. Vincent’s Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m. and trivia starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and include dinner and trivia. Deadline to register is 2/18/22 Get your team of 10 together and register by clicking here!
