Announcements for Tuesday, March 7, 2023 - Today is ACT/Pre-ACT TEST DAY.

TODAY all juniors, sophomores and freshmen will participate in the ACT/Pre-ACT test day. After testing, students will be dismissed. We will not have a regular scheduled school day, but participating in this testing day is required. Seniors do not have to attend school today unless they are taking the ACT.

Faith on Fire! Members. Please take note. We will have a mandatory meeting Wednesday, March 8th at 12:40pm in R204 to discuss our last activity of the year and election of an executive board for next year.. Please make plans to attend.

The Loyola Varsity and JV Lacrosse teams will take on Magnet High TODAY at Messmer Stadium. Varsity will play at 6:00pm with JV to follow. Please come out and support your LCP Flyers Lacrosse teams this week!

Juniors and Seniors -Three current students from the United States Military Academy at West Point will be here Wednesday, March 8 at 10:45am to talk about their experiences. Any junior or senior interested in attending a military academy or enlisting in the armed forces should attend. Please sign up in Naviance at least 24 hours in advance and contact Mrs. Clark for more information.

Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 03.20.2023-03.24.2023. https://forms.gle/YtR wax QVB7MaGsG7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY 03/17/2023 at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

Service Hour Opportunity - The Holly Hill Spring Horse Trials is in need of volunteers for the event. You may sign up to help here - https://www.eventingvolunteers.com/events/2635/signup . You may only volunteer after school hours. Contact Brooke Schafer with questions at Bascha3@gmail .

Service Hour Opportunity - Ms.Pulliam has a service hour opportunity for helping to assemble Rosaries. No experience needed. Contact Ms.Pulliam.

Parent Announcements

Students will begin wearing Spring Uniforms on Monday, March 20. The Uniform Closet is fully stocked with polos, khaki shorts and girls' skirts. We also have a large selection of Spirit Shirts and apparel for all of our LCP sports teams. All items are $3 each. The closet is open Monday through Friday during regular school hours. Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is currently underway. The registration fee is $300 if registering before the March 15 deadline. Tuition Assistance applications are also due at this time. A reminder that this year we are using FACTS for tuition assistance. You can log on to FACTS at: http://online.factsmgt.com/aid and apply. Please contact the Registrar's Office with any questions at 226-6284.

Parents! The Flyer Alumni Association is looking for 2-3 volunteers to work at the annual Snoopy Shootout fundraiser this Saturday, March 11. They need volunteers to assist with scoring. If you are interested, reach out to Colleen Avallone at [email protected] 318-207-7289.

LCP Parents are invited to attend the St. John Berchmans Silent Auction event “Lights, Camera, Auction!” scheduled for Saturday, April 15 at Artspace. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. and the main event starts at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite movie stars or characters. Click here for more information.
