March 8, 2022Announcements for Tuesday, March 8, 2022 - Today is a testing day.
- Today is a testing day. - Seniors will not be testing and will not need to attend school today. All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be dismissed when all testing is completed at noon.
- Rising 10th and 11th graders: increase your reading speed and comprehension, increase your writing, vocab, and textbook skills. Summer online Zoom classes are available, once a week for 6 weeks. Contact LSU Online and Continuing Education at 800-715-1498 to sign up.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 03.14-03.18.2022. https://forms.gle/VAXU6JBie4iABH546 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up.
- You are invited to attend the 4th annual Flyers and Buyers student entrepreneur showcase on March 9 from 6-8 pm in the Loyola gym. Tickets are $8 before the event or $10 at the door. They can be purchased through the My School Bucks link:

- Congratulations to the mock trial team on reaching the final of this year's LSBA regional tournament. Special recognition to Claire Scott on being named best attorney of the tournament. And particular distinction to Jack Walls, who was affectionately dubbed "The Witness from Hell" by United States District Court Chief Judge Maury Hicks in recognition of his masterful, humorous witness performance. Great job, guys!
- Lacrosse News - This week the JV will play at Byrd High School on Tuesday, March 8 at 6pm and Varsity will play at Byrd on Friday March 11 at 7pm. Please come out and support your Loyola Lacrosse Teams!
- ACT Boot Camps:

*Another is scheduled for March 12th at CE Byrd from 9 am until 12 noon.
- The Uniform Closet is fully stocked with spring uniforms. Polo shirts, khaki shorts, plaid skirts, spirit shirts and other accessories are only $2 each. - Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph's School will be hosting an alumni event and they need volunteers to help with setting up. Volunteers are needed to help move and set up tables at the Family Life Center at St. Joseph's School at 11:00 AM on April 23rd.
