- There will be a Mass in the student chapel at 7:15 am this morning. All faculty and students are welcome to attend.
- This week SGA is honoring all the academic departments that make the academic excellence pillar of Loyola shine. Loyola has been an amazing school for over 119 years now and everyday we learn about the history of our school, and the history teachers of Loyola honor the history of our world. If you see Mrs. Fox, Mr. Greene (former social studies teacher), Mrs. Hymel, Coach Mac, Mr. Pachankis, Coach Landreneau, and Mr. Minton, please give them a big thank you. Join us at lunch for a Loyola Kahoot competition in the cafeteria!
Tomorrow we will be honoring the English teachers; We will be doing a pocket poem. Please print out your favorite poem and tape it to your backpack or shirt to show off!- Come support LCP Baseball as they take on Byrd this Friday night at 6 PM at Cicero Field. While you're there, sign up for a chance to win a $100 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings or a $100 VISA gift. card.

Come out and support your Lady Flyers. LCP students get in free with ID, general admission is $7.
- Course selections for the 2022-2023 school year are due on Thursday, March 17. Please make sure you go into your my school app to complete the process. If you need help with this process or have questions concerning your potential schedule, just email Ms. Hymel.
- The JV lacrosse team beat Magnet High last night by a score of 8-0. Goals were scored by Colin Huckabay, Rowan Guthikonda, Gray Burch, Holland Marrs and John Paul Zaffater. The Varsity team will be traveling to Alexandria this Saturday, March 19. They will be playing Isidore Newman at 1pm and Brother Martin at 4pm. Both games will take place at the LSU-A soccer field (8100 Hwy 71 South, Alexandria,LA 71302). Come out and support your Loyola Flyers Lacrosse Teams!
- SGA Elections … Prepare for Take-off! Attention students interested in running for an SGA office next year! An interest meeting for the Executive Board Candidates is Friday, March 18. An interest meeting for the Class Office Candidates will be Wednesday, April 6 during lunch in the Gym. Please check your email for the “Flight Plan” and more information on how you can run as a candidate.
- FAiTH officer applications are due by Thursday March 17th. All rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to apply. The applications can be found in the main office, Ms Hymel’s office, from the religion teachers, or one of the chairmen.
- Rising 10th and 11th graders: increase your reading speed and comprehension, increase your writing, vocab, and textbook skills. Summer online Zoom classes are available, once a week for 6 weeks. Contact LSU Online and Continuing Education at 800-715-1498 to sign up.
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph's School will be hosting an alumni event and they need volunteers to help with setting up. Volunteers are needed to help move and set up tables at the Family Life Center at St. Joseph's School at 11:00 AM on April 23rd. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Kay Nader at [email protected] .
- Service Hour Opportunity - The Muses Book Bazaar at Centenary College needs volunteers to help organize, shelve books, and assist customers on March 25th and 26th. There are multiple shifts available. If you are interested, please sign up in the Loyola office.
- The Registration and Financial Aid Deadlines for the 2022-2023 school year are today. Starting tomorrow the registration fee will increase to $500. Please contact the Registrar's Office with any questions at 226-6284.
