- Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a late start day. The first bell rings at 9:15 and the tardy bell rings at 9:20.
- Do you want to make an impact on the school? The SGA Senate and Executive Board elections are right around the corner. Make sure you have joined the SGA Google Classroom to keep up with important dates.
- Attention Artists, Writers, Musicians, and Creative Folks- LYRA is accepting submissions now!! If you have an original poem, short story, free verse piece, art work, photography, sculpture, or musical ability, PLEASE submit it to LYRA@loyolaprep.org. This is your time to shine!! If you are chosen, you will be able to put on your resume that you are published. How cool is that?! LYRA is making a paper book this year and it's going to be fab. Please consider showing off your talents and helping Ms. Franks and LYRA out. Email submissions to LYRA@loyolaprep.org as soon as possible so your work can be featured. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
- Lacrosse Team News - The Loyola Varsity Lacrosse team beat Shreve on Friday night by a score of 12-11. Robert Pavlick led with 5 goals, followed by Bruce Henley with 4, Holland Marrs with 2 and Alex Horton with 1. Goalie Tripp Yerger had some incredible saves too. This week Flyers Lacrosse will be playing at Messmer Stadium: JV vs. Byrd on Tuesday, March 28 at 7pm, Varsity vs. Byrd on Thursday, March 30 at 7pm which will also be Senior Night, JV and Varsity vs. St. Paul's on Saturday, April 1st starting at 10am. Come out and support LCP Flyers Lacrosse!
- Track Team News - Congrats to Mark Henry for 1st place in the 1600 meter run and Emily G. Anderson 2nd place in the 800 meter run at the Bossier Bearkat Relays last Thursday. Congrats to Tripp Roemer for 2nd place in the 800 meter run at the Hoss Garrett Relays in Ruston this past Saturday. Tripp crushed his previous school record with a time of 1:56.06!
- The Engineering Club will meet at lunchtime on Tuesday, in room 206. If you want to join the club, contact tcharles@loyolaprep.org!
- Service Hour Opportunity - The Caddo Council on Aging is sponsoring a "Brunch & Bingo" fundraiser on Saturday, April 1st from 11 am - 2 pm. They are in need of volunteers. For more information please contact Mrs. Pringle at 318-458-2196.
- Service Hour Opportunity -The Overton Brooks VA Employee Association is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on April 1st from 8:30 - 12:00 for children ages 0-10 years old. (Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, 510 E. Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA.) They need assistance with: food distribution • leading egg hunters • face painting • leading games. If you would like to assist, please contact Caroline Chartier at 318-990-4742.
- Service Hour Opportunity - The American Rose Center needs volunteers to help with the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1st. Volunteers will work from 9am-2:30pm. The students will be assigned to a workstation when they arrive. Below is the google form link for the students to sign up. Please bring your service hour form with you.

- LCP Parents are invited to attend the St. John Berchmans Silent Auction event “Lights, Camera, Auction!” scheduled for Saturday, April 15 at Artspace. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. and the main event starts at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite movie stars or characters. Click here for more information.
