- TODAY IS CHALLENGE DAY!
- Congratulations to the boys tennis team on their 3-1 win over St. Marys' yesterday. Brannigan Bissel, Sanders Graf, Emery Boniol, Bo Bowman and Gregor Ghali all won their matches. Mary Elberson, Taylor Nash, Addison Knox and Cassidy Kirk won matches for the girls team. The tennis team competes in the regional tournament next Monday and Tuesday.
- The Loyola Lacrosse teams ended their seasons with big wins by both Varsity and JV over Magnet High on Thursday night. The Varsity won 12-4 with 4 goals from Christian Smith, 2 goals each by Bruce Henley, Alex Horton and Will Carroll, and 1 goal each by Zachary Tuttle and Van VanNorman. The JV team won 9-0 with Gray Burch and John Paul Zaffater each scoring twice and Nichols Avallone, Jonathan Peeples, Ben Pickitt and Rowan Guthikonda each scoring once. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our Seniors for their last night playing in Messmer Stadium.
- Track Meet Results - Congratulations to Erin Campbell, Kate Fortune, Emily G. Anderson and Emmaline Drummond for 1st in the 4x800 meter relay, Tyler Hornsby, Mark Henry, Cole Adair and Tripp Roemer 1st in the 4x800 meter relay, Reece Armagost 1st in pole vault, Izzy Black 2nd in high jump, Tyler Hornsby 2nd in the 800, Max Crofton 2nd in javelin, Eli Baker 3rd in high jump, Alyssa Matriano Lim 3rd in pole vault, Tripp Roemer 3rd in the 1 mile and 2 mile, Aidan Heard 3rd in the 1 mile and 2 mile at the Raider Relays!
- Varsity played North Webster in a double header for two big district wins! Pitcher Noble means brought home the win 14-10 and hitting another home run! Multiple hits from Coyle, Deason, Soignier, Thomas, Carnahan, Lirette and Means the Flyers had 16 hits! Game 2 William Soignier pitched the Flyers to a 13-3 victory striking out 10! ONeal, carnahan, Coyle, Thomas, and Lirette had multiple hits.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 04.11.2022-04.15.2022. https://forms.gle/c8qiWaogi7tvurEKA - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Athletic Physicals will be offered free of charge on April 23rd at 9:15 at Christus Outpatient Therapy on Line Ave. Anyone who plans to participate in athletics next year may attend. You will need to take the LHSAA Medical History Evaluation Form (physical form) with you. You can download that here - https://files.ecatholic.com/29158/documents/2021/5/Medical_Form.pdf Please see your coach for more information. Please note - all athletes must have a current physical on file with the school prior to participating in the first practice.
- Johns Hopkins School of Engineering will be offering Explore Engineering Innovation (a pre-college program) at BPCC (Bossier Parish Community College) this summer. July 5 - July 29 are the dates, Mon-Fri 9am-3pm. Visit https://ei.jhu.edu/ for more info, or pick up a brochure in the office. Both 'in person' and 'online' options are available.
- This year's prom will be held April 23. Please join us in Snoopy's Secret Garden for an enchanted evening!! Prom will be at Loyola from 8 - 10:30. The dress is formal, You may bring a date from another school, but you must get a form from Coach Greene and have it filled out and turned in by Wednesday April 20. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Bissell in R-300.

- Service Hour Opportunity - Looking for volunteers to work the Eden Garden Soar Like an Eagle 5K race Saturday 4/9 @ Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club. Please sign up via link!
- Service Hour Opportunity - Volunteers are needed for The Arc Caddo-Bossier's GREAT Program. This program is dedicated to building unlimited opportunities for people with disabilities through equine assisted services. The GREAT Program's Camp Victory will need volunteers for two sessions: Session 1: June 6 - 10 and Session 2: June 13 - 17. Both sessions are from 8:00am - 12:00pm daily. - Service Hour Opportunity for former St. Joseph's Students - St. Joseph's Catholic School needs volunteers to help out at field day at Messmer on Friday, May 6th. Volunteers will need to arrive by 7:30am and stay for the entire event. You must have been an SJS student and have a (C) average or better in all classes. You must also have parent permission. If you have a test on that date you must take the test during the normal class time. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up in the Loyola office.

- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph's School will be hosting an alumni event and they need volunteers to help with setting up. Volunteers are needed to help move and set up tables at the Family Life Center at St. Joseph's School at 11:00 AM on April 23rd.
