- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 04.18.22 – 04.22.22. https://forms.gle/jZAJAFY3ouB3xG3v6 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions
- The Lady Flyers Softball Team traveled to river oaks last night and brought home a win! The Flyers defeated the Mustangs in a 18-8 run rule. Kate Ebarb, Shelby Hice, Mallory Mayeux, Cassidy Smith, Sophea Anthony, and Kalea Davis all had multiple hits for the team. Cassidy Smith was the winning pitcher for the Flyers. Great Job ladies! They will have their final game tonight at Messmer versus bossier at 5. Come out and support your lady flyers!!
- Congratulations to the boys and girls tennis teams on clinching first place in the regional tournament after the first day of play! All Loyola team members scored points in securing the team championships.In boys singles, Stander Olsan lost in the quarter-finals but qualified for the State tournament. Ravi Ahuja will play in the championship match in boys singles.In boys doubles, Bo Bowman and Gregor Ghali lost in the quarter-finals but qualified for the State tournament. Brannigan Bissell and Sanders Graf play Charles Valiulis and Patrick Gooszen in the championship match in boys doubles.In girls singles, Tristin Knox and Stella-Marie Hobley-Depestre lost in the quarter-finals but qualified for the State tournament.In girls doubles, Julia Hancock and Katelyn Pavlick along with Cassidy Kirk and Addison Knox lost in the quarter-finals but qualified for the State tournament. Mary Elberson and Taylor Nash will play for the doubles championship.
- Applications for the Flyer Alumni Association and St. Vincent's Academy Alumnae Association are now being accepted for the 2022-23 school year. The application deadline for both scholarships is April 19. The scholarships are for current or incoming students who are children or grandchildren of St. John’s, Jesuit, Loyola, or St. Vincent’s Academy. Click here to apply.
- Flyers for Life meeting will be today during the second half of HR in room R201.
- Athletic Physicals will be offered free of charge on April 23rd at 9:15 at Christus Outpatient Therapy on Line Ave. Anyone who plans to participate in athletics next year may attend. You will need to take the LHSAA Medical History Evaluation Form (physical form) with you. You can download that here - https://files.ecatholic.com/29158/documents/2021/5/Medical_Form.pdf Please see your coach for more information. Please note - all athletes must have a current physical on file with the school prior to participating in the first practice.
- This year's prom will be held April 23. Please join us in Snoopy's Secret Garden for an enchanted evening!! Prom will be at Loyola from 8 - 10:30. The dress is formal, You may bring a date from another school, but you must get a form from Coach Greene and have it filled out and turned in by Wednesday April 20. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Bissell in R-300.
