April 17, 2023Announcements for Monday, April 17, 2023 - Today is an A day.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 04.24-04.28.2023. https://forms.gle/BHqUsGALtSEysWYc7 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

- Senior service hours are due by May 5th.
- The Lady Flyers Softball team is in the playoffs for the first time since 2016! Your Flyers will take on Episcopal at home on St. Vincent's Field on TONIGHT at 4:30pm. Please come out and support the Lady Flyers. Tickets are $8 and are available at the gate and online at https://gofan.co/app/school/LA23475. Per LHSAA regulations, every one must purchase a ticket, including LCP students and pass holders.
- Congratulations to our Varsity Lacrosse team who have made it to the playoffs! Playoff games will take place at St. Thomas More High School in Lafayette on Saturday, April 29 with times TBD. Both the JV and Varsity Lacrosse teams played hard fought games on Saturday but lost to Catholic High. Charles Pippin scored 1 goal for JV and Robert Pavlick, Alex Horton and Bruce Henley each scored once for Varsity. JV Lacrosse will play their last game of the season on Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00pm at Messmer Stadium.

- Prom tickets are on sale now. Go to MySchoolBucks to get yours today. Prom will be held at Loyola on Saturday April 22nd from 8 - 10 pm. Please see Coach Greene by Tuesday April 18th if you plan to invite someone from another school. Those forms MUST be turned in by Wednesday April 19th. - The annual 5K Sam’s Run, will be held June 3rd, 2023. This Run was established to pay tribute to the memory of Sam Walker Lees. Sam’s Run helps to support and bring awareness to the Foundation that was formed in Sam’s memory. “The Look in the Mirror Foundation '', which has started a college scholarship fund. Please join us on June 3rd, with family and friends, runners, walkers of all ages to celebrate Sam’s memory with this 5K Run. The race starts at 8:00 am, on the grounds of LSUS, followed with food, beverages, music and awards. - Service Hour Opportunity - Volunteer to help with Sam's Run! Sign up by sending your name and number to email ([email protected]), or text to 318-208-4473. You would need to arrive at LSUS at about 6:45 am on June 3rd.
