- Congratulations to the girls golf team for taking 2nd at regionals!
- State Tennis Results - Ravi Ahuja and Sanders Graf placed 2nd in Boys Doubles. Mae Graf and Kathryn Elberson placed 3rd in Girls Doubles. The girls team took 3rd place in the team competition and the boys placed 4th.Congratulations to all the members of the tennis team on a great season!
- Baseball will compete in Regionals this weekend at Parkview Baptist in Baton Rouge - Game One - Friday at 6:00PM, Game Two - Saturday at 12:00PM, Game Three (if necessary) - Saturday at 2:30PM; Good luck, Flyers!
- If you are interested in playing volleyball for the 2024-25 season, please email Coach Tademy ([email protected]) for information regarding tryouts May 22-23.
- The deadline for seniors to turn in service hours for recognition at graduation is May 10th.
- Anyone who did not play football last season, but is interested in playing this upcoming year MUST talk to Coach Sella before spring practice begins on April 29 in order to be able to play.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 04.29-05.03.2024. https://forms.gle/zhV3as6d8ES65bqj8 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. SENIORS: Do not order for Friday May 3rd unless you will be on campus through lunch doing makeup work. **Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Any student who takes private lessons on a "wind instrument," "stringed instrument", including guitar, or piano, and would like information on trying out for the Louisiana All-State Band, Orchestra, or Guitar ensemble, please see Ms. Hymel for details.
- ATTENTION FIELD DAY VOLUNTEERS - If you signed up to volunteer for any of the field days, you will receive a confirmation email a day or two prior to the event. If you do not receive an email, you have not been approved to attend or your parent has not emailed permission to the office. Please see /email Mrs. Kristy with any questions.
- Students approved to volunteer at the Southfield field day this Friday are excused/exempt for the full day. Volunteer sign up is now closed.

- Service Hour Opportunity - BNAHEC is looking for summer volunteers to pack packets, organize scrubs, and do other office work. If you are interested, please call or text LaShanda Sanders at (318) 564-0887.
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. John Berchmans is looking for reliable student volunteers for their Vacation Bible School - Scuba, Divining into Friendship with God from Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 7th. Students are needed to lead Crews of five children throughout the morning, help create video content, and volunteer where needed. - Service Hour Opportunity for former SJS Students - St. Joseph's needs volunteers for their field day which will be held on May 10th from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Volunteers will need to report to Messmer Stadium between 7:30-7:45. Preferably no later than 7:45! You must have a C or better in all courses and must have parent permission emailed to Mrs. Watts at [email protected]. A sign up sheet will be located in the front office.

- Junior Ring Ceremony Mass is tonight at 6:00PM in the Cathedral.
- Loyola Rosary Group - The Rosary Group will be praying for the Senior Class of 2024. We welcome any senior parents who would like to join us in the weeks ahead as we pray for the seniors. Next Monday, the 22nd will be the last rosary workout meeting for the year! Remember to please meet in the office first to sign in.
