Announcements for Wednesday, August 17, 2022 - Today is a B day.

Yearbook pictures will be taken TODAY during the students' first class of the day. The time is a correction from the previous announcement. This year, we are asking students to wear their winter uniform for the yearbook. Students will need to arrive at school in (or bring) blazer, oxford shirt and tie. They are permitted to wear shorts and can change back into polos after the picture. There will be blazers available to borrow for the picture in case your blazer has been ordered but has not yet come in.

There will be a Swim Team interest meeting in the cafeteria at 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 18th. Anyone who is interested in hearing about the plans for the season and how to get involved is encouraged to attend. In addition to increasing the number of swimmers on the team, a student manager is also needed. Information associated with that position will be shared as well.

F.Ai.T.H. will be having a Kona Ice fundraiser this Friday, the 19th, during lunch. You can bring cash or card to enjoy this wonderful treat! Prices range from $3.00 - $6.00.

The Loyola Cross Country Team is recruiting! Come run with us! We have practice available Monday - Thursday morning @ 5:15 am at Messmer and also Monday - Friday afternoon @ 2:45 pm at Loyola. We welcome all levels. Contact Coach Villalba mvillalba@loyolaprep.org

Cell Phone Use: Students should not have any cell phones or air pods out in the hallway or classrooms for any reason. Once students enter the classroom they will put their cellphones in the designated area determined by the teacher. If a student leaves the classroom for any reason, his or her cell phone will remain in the classroom until the student returns. The only time students are permitted to have their cell phone out is during lunch.

Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 08.22-08.26.2022. https://forms.gle/LBUerQwYRi7drMBu6 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

Service Hour Reminder - The deadline to turn in service hours earned over the summer is August 29th. Forms should be submitted in the office. No forms will be accepted via email.
