September 6, 2023Announcements for Wednesday, September 6, 2023 - Today is an A day.
- Homecoming t-shirts are on sale this week for $18 on my school bucks…click here to purchase one for you and your date! The game is a white out and this Under the Sea t-shirt will be perfect!!
- The junior class shirts are now on sale for $23. We would like to wear this navy t-shirt for challenge day, please order yours here..
- There will be an introductory Art Club meeting in the art room on Wednesday, 9/6. If you are interested in being involved, please join us at the beginning of the second half of lunch.
- A representative from BNAHEC will be on campus this Thursday at 12 to talk about health career programs including AHEC of a Summer and Day with the Doctors. These programs are open to students in grades 9-11 who are interested in medical careers, and participation looks great on college resumes. Please email Mrs. Clark to sign up for this information meeting.
- There will be an interest meeting for the girls golf team during the second half of lunch on Thursday in room B5.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 09.11-09.18.2023. https://forms.gle/vjfn4sawPsj9YEHN8 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Pipeline Shirts are on sale now for $23.00 each! The sale is running all the way through September 8th. Senior Madeline Lowe helped design the shirt! Purchase yours here!
- SGA is selling ‘Its a Great Year to be a Flyer’ Shirts, which are now available in My School Bucks until September 8th. Click here to order. The proceeds from this shirt will help defray the ticket costs and go towards our Winter Formal dance. Support SGA, get a cool T-Shirt, and lower the cost of your Winter Formal dance. It’s a triple-threat, so make sure and show your Flyer Pride!
- Service Hour Opportunity - Be a volunteer on September 28th at the Holy Angels 42nd Annual TASTE: A Festival of Food and Art! Shifts vary throughout the day. Volunteers will receive one ticket to TASTE to enjoy the festivities before or after their volunteer shift. Volunteers must be 16 or older unless accompanied by a parent. Sign up here to volunteer!

- Reminder: September LPA meeting will be held Wednesday, September 6th at noon in the Catholic Center on the second floor. All Loyola parents are invited to attend.
