SGA is happy to announce that this year students have the opportunity to participate in Giving Day. Giving Day is important because it allows for classroom improvements which aid in our education. TODAY Kona Ice will be for sale during lunch and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Giving Day fund on behalf of the students. Prices range from $3.00 - $6.00.

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity volleyball teams. With the support of an enthusiastic student section, both teams defeated Evangel last night. The JV won their match 2-1 and the Varsity won 3-0. The Flyers will play the next few matches on the road, but return home to face Benton on September 29th.

Garden Park club believes in the importance of kind words, the healing power of a smile, community, and companionship. Beginning TODAY we will start visiting the elderly residents in-person again! It is limited to 5 students per visit, so contact Ms. Barker to reserve your spot.

Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

Service Hour Opportunity -Christ United Methodist Church in Shreveport will be hosting field trips for Caddo Parish PreK- 2nd grade students during our Loyola Fall Break (October 21 & 24, 8:30 - 12:30 )and they are in need of volunteers. Activities they need help with: Crafts, filling mini pumpkin patch, games, loading and unloading children on hayride, leading groups from one activity to another, helping with science experiments, helping with snacks, helping clean; If you are interested, please contact Jen Lowe at [email protected] .
