September 21, 2022Announcements for Wednesday, September 21, 2022 - Today is a B day.
- SGA is happy to announce that this year students have the opportunity to participate in Giving Day. Giving Day is important because it allows for classroom improvements which aid in our education. TODAY Kona Ice will be for sale during lunch and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Giving Day fund on behalf of the students. Prices range from $3.00 - $6.00.
- Calling all SGA Campers! Open your travel guides (email) to find your first adventure - Join the 22-23 SGA Camp Snoopy Google Classroom by Thursday, September 22nd.
- If you have not submitted your photo to Mrs. Soberal for the Hipanic Heritage project please do so by Thursday 9/22/22.
- Congratulations to the JV and Varsity volleyball teams. With the support of an enthusiastic student section, both teams defeated Evangel last night. The JV won their match 2-1 and the Varsity won 3-0. The Flyers will play the next few matches on the road, but return home to face Benton on September 29th.
- Style Show Practice THIS Sunday, September 25th in the gym starting at 2:00PM. Please check your email for your specific time.
- Garden Park club believes in the importance of kind words, the healing power of a smile, community, and companionship. Beginning TODAY we will start visiting the elderly residents in-person again! It is limited to 5 students per visit, so contact Ms. Barker to reserve your spot.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 09.26-09.30.2022. https://forms.gle/cJRm4rpTbCVatU1b9 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Service Hour Opportunity - St, Elizabeth Ann Seton is having a rummage sale on Saturday, September 24th from 9:00 - 2:00. If you would be interested in helping out for service hours, please contact Mrs. Brown at [email protected] .
- Service Hour Opportunity - Christ United Methodist Church in Shreveport will be hosting field trips for Caddo Parish PreK- 2nd grade students during our Loyola Fall Break (October 21 & 24, 8:30 - 12:30 )and they are in need of volunteers. Activities they need help with: Crafts, filling mini pumpkin patch, games, loading and unloading children on hayride, leading groups from one activity to another, helping with science experiments, helping with snacks, helping clean; If you are interested, please contact Jen Lowe at [email protected] .
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Mary of the Pines needs volunteers to work their St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals and Pet Vaccination Clinic on Sunday, October 2nd. Volunteers are needed from 1:30-5:30. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Johnson at [email protected]
- Service Hour Opportunity - Volunteers needed to help at the St. Mary of the Pines food booth at the Red River Revel on Saturday, Oct. 8. Two shifts are available: 10 am- 2 pm and 1:30 pm - 6 pm. Please email Fr. Johnson by Friday, September 23 if interested: [email protected] .

Service Hour Opportunity - First Baptist Church School's Fall Carnival is Thursday, October 6th, 2022. The carnival is from 3:00-6:00 pm. We will need 20 volunteers to work the event from 2:45-6:00. If interested, please contact FBCS Volunteer Chairman Caroline McKenzie at [email protected] .
Parent Announcements- The date to sign the Senior Credit Letter form was Friday, Sept. 16. If you have not already done so, please log in to your school portal and sign the form ASAP. The student and one parent are required to sign. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
