- Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15th - October 15th! The Hispanic population of Caddo Parish represents 2.9% of the total population in 2022.
- Homecoming Game Tonight - Come cheer on your Flyers as they take on the Red River Bulldogs at Messmer at 7:00PM! Avoid the lines and get your tickets here https://gofan.co/app/school/LA23475 Contactless ticketing available on your phone – no need to print anything to bring with you. Current LCP students get in free with their ID. (Must have the actual student ID, pictures will NOT be accepted.)
- It's Homecoming Week! Today is Jersey Day! Free Dress Guidelines/Rules Must Be Followed:
- No tennis skirts or shorts.
- Sweatpants/joggers are allowed.
- Jeans, capris, cropped pants, etc. are fine as long as there are no holes in them.
- Sleeveless shirts are acceptable, as long as they are not “tank tops” or do not have spaghetti straps and bra straps are not showing.
- NO LEGGINGS. If you show up in leggings, you will be forced to change into a uniform from the uniform closet.
- Tops don’t have to be tucked in, but they may not be too low cut at the neckline and must not expose the midriff.
- Boots or sandals may be worn, but students may not wear flip flops. Slides/crocs are fine.
- If you missed your chance to purchase Homecoming dance tickets on myschoolbucks, you may still purchase them at the door on GoFan tickets. The QR code will be at the entrance table.
- Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 09.25-09.29.2023. https://forms.gle/GX2vH2BWwwn1XQTg8 - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
- Blood Drive October 4th - The BloodMobile will be here Wednesday, October 4th for our LCP Fall Blood Drive! You must be 16 years old to donate. Schedule an appointment to donate here. Loyola requires a Minor Donor Permit signed by a parent/guardian for all student donors regardless of the student's age. Download Minor Donor Permit here.
- All F.A.i.T.H. Officers and Members need to pay dues and select t-shirt size through myschoolbucks by October 1st.
- The Youth in 6th through 12th grades in the Diocese of Shreveport are invited to 2023 Gather. 2023 Gather will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 6:00-9:30 pm at St. Jude Catholic Church (4700 Palmetto Road, Benton, La 71006). The cost is $10 but please don't let that stop you from attending. This event will be an opportunity for youth throughout the deanery to “Gather” for food, fellowship, faith, and fun! The speaker for the event is Braden Johnson. He will speak about creating a culture of young people who are passionate and excited about their faith! Sign up forms are in each Religion teacher's classrooms and questions will be answered there. Sign up early!
- For the month of September, we ask that all students donate personal hygiene products for the Be Blessed Bags. These bags are for boys and girls in need in the Caddo school system. MiniVinnies will be collecting donations in the Religion classrooms until September 29th. Several of the regular-sized items to donate are as follows: toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, lotion, and soap. See the full list of items in your religion class. - Service Hour Opportunity - 2-3 boys needed to help out at halftime during the homecoming court presentation. Please see or email Mr. Pachankis ASAP
- Service Hour Opportunity -Get hands on with 3D printing while earning service hours with Ms. Pulliam. Afternoons September to November. Email Ms. Pulliam for details.
- Service Hour Opportunity - Volunteers are needed for local high school swim meets. If interested please email Coach Taylor Charles at tcharles@ymcanwla.org.
- Service Hour Opportunity - St. Mark’s Cathedral School is searching for volunteers to help at the first Kids on the Run Race!

Parent Announcements- The Booster Club is hosting the Homecoming Tailgate TONIGHT at Messmer @5:30. It’s Jambalaya Night! Please join us for some fellowship, fun, and of course, FOOTBALL!!!!! Go Flyers!!!!!
- Senior Parents- Please do not forget to purchase your Senior Seating or Sponsorship Tables for this year's Style Show. Sales end October 13th. They are available for purchase on MSB, Venmo @LCP-LPA, or by cash or check to the Anderson Building. If paying online, please fill out green "Sponsorship" form or yellow "Senior Seating" form and email it to the appropriate Chair. We can't wait to "Twist, Rock and Hip Hop Through the Decades" with you.

- 2023-2024 Student Directories are available for purchase in the Anderson Building or at LPA meetings. Cost is $5.00 cash or check payable to LPA (Loyola Parents Association.
