September 27, 2021Announcements for Monday, September 27, 2021 - Today is a B day.
- TODAY IS A LATE START DAY. First bell rings at 9:15. Tardy bell rings at 9:20.
- There is a mask mandate in place statewide. Masks are required.
- Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: Bayou North Area Health Education Center will be here to speak to students interested in a medical field career and tell them about area programs to learn more about those possible careers, such as AHEC of a Summer, Day with the Doctors, and more. The meeting will be Wednesday, Sept 29 during the last 30 min of 5th period.
- Garden Park sessions will be held Wednesdays right after school in Ms. Barker's class R203. We will be chatting with the elderly residents via Zoom, writing cards, and making decorations. We hope to see you there.
- There will be a tennis team meeting in R302 during the second half of the lunch period on Tuesday September 28th for any new students wishing to try out for the team. Last year's members do not need to attend.
- St. Mark’s is searching for volunteers to help at the first Kids on the Run Race!

For questions email Aaron Bergman at [email protected]- Congratulations to the Loyola Cross Country Team for another 12 personal records at the Cedar Creek Wallace Martin Invitational Meet in Ruston this past weekend! Both the Girls and Boys Team had another strong performance against 25 other teams from Louisiana. The Girls Team was led by Aidan Heard who ran her personal best with a time of 22 minutes flat (22:00.31) while the Boys Team was led by Warren Graves with a time of 18 minutes and 57 seconds (18:57.68). Godspeed on your next meet FLYERS!
- Service Hours Available for helping at St. Mary of the Pines Blessing of the Animals/Vaccination Clinic on the afternoon Sunday October 3 should contact Mrs. Johnson to sign up.
- Service Hours Available - The ARC of Caddo-Bossier is seeking volunteers for it's therapeutic horsemanship program for people with disabilities. If you are interested in helping, email [email protected] .
- There will be a Key Club meeting Wednesday September 29th at 6 pm in the cafe. Check your email for the sign up sheet.
