Announcements for October 9, 2024 -  B Day

SENIORS AND SENIOR PARENTS: This is a reminder that all seniors and a parent must sign the Senior Credit Audit Form.  If you have not already done so, please log in to your My School Portal to sign the form.  A Hold will be placed on your account if not signed by Wednesday, Oct. 16.

SENIOR PICTURES: All seniors must choose their senior portraits from the Harrington House website by Friday, October 11th, or one will be chosen for you. 

PAINTBALL FUNDRAISER FOR SOFTBALL: Students, teachers, coaches, friends and family! Join us on November 2 for a fun-filled day of paintball, food, and a bonfire. $50 a person will get you entry, equipment, and 500 paintballs to spend the afternoon at O.F.F. Limits Paintball. The fun starts at 1:00 pm and runs through the evening. Chicken tender and burger meals will be available for $10 and Seniors will eat FREE! Reserve your spot now by filling out the form below.

FCA:   There is a meeting in the cafeteria tomorrow, October 9th,  at 7:15 am. Karl Yabut will be speaking and there will be donuts for everyone!

FOOTBALL TAILGATE:  Please join the LCP Booster Club for their tailgate on Thursday, October 10th. The fun and food starts at 5:30 p.m. right next to Messmer Stadium before the Flyer kick-off at 7 p.m. We hope to see you there! Admission is free, but donations are always appreciated.

SOFTBALL FUNDRAISER: Support your Lady Flyers Softball by purchasing a Flyer Athletics Stadium Cushion for $15.75. The cushions are a 13” x 14” closed cell foam with a handle and are water resistant. LACROSSE: Informational meeting and sign up for new and returning lacrosse players Wednesday October 9th in the gym at the beginning of lunch. Any returning or possible new players that cannot make it or have questions please contact Coach Thomas Pernici by email [email protected].

BOWLING: Anyone who missed the bowling interest meeting can come by Rm. 100 and see Mr. Pachankis for more information through October 9th.

FOOTBALL: To pre-order a Small’s sliders meal for the October 10th football game please see the attached sheet.  Orders are due by Oct 9th at 2:30 p.m. 

CHRISTMAS CARD CONTEST: If you want to submit a design (paint, pencil, graphic, watercolor, etc.), please email Mrs. Jordan Harris at [email protected] or drop off your physical copy in the Anderson Building. The deadline to submit artwork is Oct. 18 at 2:30 p.m. The chosen winner will have their artwork displayed on the 2024 Loyola Christmas Card!

LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 10.14.2024 – 10.18.2024.  https://forms.gle/ijA5wQv6vKb3uETU8- The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account.

Orders are charged even if they are not picked up.Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. 

Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home.  No exceptions.

Seniors, reminder to go to Harrington House and get your senior portraits done ASAP. They will take a photo that is needed for the Style Show.

Consider making a donation to the Style Show Online Auction!!  We would love to have you or  your business advertised in our online auction. CONCESSIONS:We still need students to sign up for the concession booth. If you signed up in the past and missed your shift you have been removed and will need to sign up again for upcoming shifts.

SACRED HEART OF JESUS FALL FEST:

Date: Sunday, October 20th

Time: 10:15 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Location: Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 

Needs: Assisting with various games and face-painting booths, Big Kahuna Splash, as well as serving food and cleaning up afterwards

SBJ Monster Mash: SJB is celebrating its annual Monster Mash and is looking for volunteers.  There is a sign up sheet in the office.
