Announcements for October 21, 2024 -  A Day

WINTER UNIFORMS: Students must wear winter uniforms starting today.  Please see the handbook for guidelines if needed.  The Uniform Closet is only open during lunch and before and after school so as to not disturb the classes that take place in the Anderson Building. 

CROSS COUNTRY:  The Girls XC Team finished 9th place led by Julia Braud (23:09.5), followed by Teresa Fields (25:19.4), Lily Harris (25:51.1), Ava Bauer (30:13.5), Sophia Boggs (30:37.4), and Emma Caraway (31:08.3). 

The Boys XC Team finished 7th place led by Mark Henry (16:50.8) followed by, Mathis Stanberry (17:25.3), Reese Jacobs (17:49.7), Nick Kampert (18:04.1), Eddie Villalba (18:08.7), Holt Hamilton (18:11.7), Carter Spohr (19:21.8), Archer Elston (21:44.9), Andrew Kim (21:55.3), and Collier Franklin.

LACROSSE: Freshmen wanting to play lacrosse this year need to attend an informational/sign up meeting Monday, October 21st at 12:20pm in the gym at the beginning of lunch. No prior experience necessary. If you cannot attend the meeting please contact Coach Thomas Pernici by email at [email protected].

AHEC:  A representative from AHEC will be on campus Tuesday Oct 22nd at 9:30 to share opportunities with students. Students do not have to register to attend but should listen for an announcement Tuesday calling all interested students to the library. BUSINESS CLUB:There will be a Business Club meeting with a guest speaker Wednesday, October 23rd,  during lunch in Main Building 105.

SGA: SGA and Key Club are hosting a Food Drive for Northwest Food Bank this week.  Please bring donated canned goods to B3 before Friday, October 25th to help us put our faith in action.

PAINTBALL FUNDRAISER: Students, teachers, coaches, friends and family! Join us on November 2 for a fun-filled day of paintball, food, and a bonfire. $50 a person will get you entry, equipment, and 500 paintballs to spend the afternoon at O.F.F. Limits Paintball. LUNCH: Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here:Week of 10.28-11.01.2024.  https://forms.gle/Wa2ykDGN4friDwqaA. The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account.

Orders are charged even if they are not picked up.Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. 

Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home.  No exceptions.

CONCESSIONS:We still need students to sign up for the concession booth. If you signed up in the past and missed your shift you have been removed and will need to sign up again for upcoming shifts.

Students will receive 5 service hours per Varsity game, if they stay the whole game.

They will receive 3 hours per JV games/Jets games.

Varsity Games 5:30 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. 

JV and Jets Games 4:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.

ST. JOSEPH’S CHURCH:  Please see the attached sheet for information on the bake sale to support our seven seminarians and three novitiates.  Please make sure your name and school are attached to the baked goods so that you can get service hours. 

SBJ Monster Mash: SJB is celebrating its annual Monster Mash and is looking for volunteers.  There is a sign up sheet in the office.

FAIRFIELD FALL CARNIVAL: Fairfield Elementary needs 8-10 volunteers for their Fall Carnival on Friday, Oct. 25 from 4-7 p.m. Students will work hour-long shifts throughout the entire event.
