Announcements for Thursday, November 3, 2022 - Today is a LATE START DAY.

• TODAY IS A LATE START DAY. The first bell rings at 9:15 and the tardy bell rings at 9:20. 

• Due to StyleShow next week, the Religion Department Make Up Testing Date is being moved from Wednesday, November 9th at 7:10am to Friday, November 11th at 7:10am. If your deadline falls on Thursday or Friday of next week for taking your test, it is extended to Friday November 11th at 7:10am. 

• Style Show is upon us! November 9th at the Bossier City Center.  Come support our Seniors as they rock the runway! General Admission seats can be purchased now on www.myschoolbucks.com or Venmo @LCP-LPA. It's going to be GNARLY!

• The Flyers' Swim Team competed in the RRHSC Championship Meet last Saturday. Led by Gus Nicolosi, the team finished 7th in the combined team score out of the 15 scoring teams. The swim team returns to the water on November 16th in Sulfur, LA for the State Championships.

• Water, water everywhere…that is what we would like to claim! We need water bottles for Christian Service! Please bring water to the cafeteria this week before school!

• Today is the fourth day of SGA’s Hurricane Ian Relief Fundraiser, and all proceeds with benefit Jesuit High School Tampa. Bring your donations to your Religion Class. The winner will be announced at this Friday’s pep rally! The seniors still hold the lead, but the Freshmen are clawing back!  Day 3 Totals: Class of 2023- 299.22 Class of 2024-117.38 Class of 2025- 45.62 Class of 2026-205.21

• Students, get to the Flyer football game early this Friday for a tailgate sponsored by the St. Joseph Youth group as we cheer on the Flyers to victory against Calvary! The tailgate will begin at 6 p.m. on the practice field.

• It’s ‘The Final Countdown’ for our sweepstakes ticket sales contest  for the Style Show Bodacious Baskets filled with ‘The Finer Things’. The Senior, Junior, Sophomore, and Freshman classes are ‘Under Pressure’ to win a Pajama Day and Ice Cream Treat. You can still purchase tickets at www.myschoolbucks.com, w/cash/check in the Anderson Bldg., or through Venmo @LCP-LPA. Time is ‘Slipping Away’ as the contest ends Nov 4. ‘Let’s Go Crazy’ Flyers!

• Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here:  https://forms.gle/YZTU5WBio6e6vnom7  - The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home.  No exceptions.

• The BloodMobile will be here Monday, November 7th for our LCP Blood Drive.  Sign up here to donate!  You must be 16 years old to donate.  Loyola requires a Minor Donor Permit signed by a parent/guardian for all student donors regardless of the student's age.  Download Minor Donor Permit here.

• The Loyola Tennis team is hosting a Mixer on Saturday, November 19th at Pierremont Oaks Tennis Club. All parents, students, alumni and friends are invited to play. The cost is $80 for adults and $40 for students.
