Congratulations to the Loyola Cross Country Team for qualifying for State @ the LHSAA Regionals Meet in Lake Charles on Thursday 11/02.
The Girls XC Team finished 4th led by Emily Anderson who finished in 2nd place runner up (19:27) followed by Kathryn Elberson (11th), Teresa Fields (23rd), Bella Cascio (27th) and Sophia Boggs (30th). The Boys XC Team are back to back D3 Regionals Champions led Tripp Roemer who finished in 1st place (15:43)followed by Mark Henry (2nd), Carter Ward (4th) Landon Hooper (9th), Mathis Stanberry (12th), Reese Jacobs (16th), and Nick Kampert (30th).
Coats for Kids - Porter's Cleaners is collecting donations of new & gently used coats.There is a drop-off box located near the front office. Each year, with your help, Coats for Kids is able to distribute hundreds of coats across our cities! Donate today!

Loyola College Prep is hosting a Veterans’ Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 16th - 9:20 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. at Cathedral Of St. John Berchmans. Loyola students will honor our veterans with a Mass, guest speaker and music. There will be a reception following in St. Vincent’s Hall. This celebration is for all parents, family members, alumni and community members. We are asking all LCP families to send in pictures of their veteran family members with the family member's name and branch of service to [email protected]. The pictures will be used in a slideshow during the reception. Deadline to turn in pictures on Friday, Nov. 10th.
Fr. Raney Johnson, our Diocesan Vocations Director, will be hosting a Quo Vadis Vocations Retreat for young men in high school in the Diocese of Shreveport. The retreat is in Shreveport on December 9th and 10th. Please share this information with the high school aged young men in your parish. Important Lunch update for Friday 11/10 - The double entree option was mistakenly omitted. For those that would like a double entrée that day, please click the link and edit your Friday selection.Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 11.06-11.10.2023. https://forms.gle/nJgL 2hL DayCc rsa9- The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
Attention ALL SENIORS- Style Show FINALE practice will be today during homeroom. Please check in with your homeroom teachers and get to the gym quickly. Your Style Show shirt will be distributed during this time.
We will need this whole time to learn and run through the FINALE. This is the ONLY day you will have to learn the FINALE so please be there! Style Show Practice this Sunday, November 5th for the following groups at the following times: 80's Girls - 2:00 - 3:00 50's Girls - 3:00 - 4:00 60's Boys - 4:00 - 5:00 90's Girls - 5:00 - 6:00 70's Boys - 6:00 - 7:00 Juniors - your t-shirts will be distributed TODAY during your Style Show meeting! Style Show Shirts - Style Show Committee and all other Style Show t-shirts will be available to pick up from the Anderson Building on Monday, November 6th. Sophomores and Freshmen may pick up t-shirts before and after school OR during lunch beginning on that day.
Service Hour Opportunities - The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is partnering with Sportspectrum for the annual Turkey Trot run on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd. We need volunteers the week of Thanksgiving to help with race registrationand packets at Sportspectrum. We will also need volunteers at the event Thanksgiving morning.
Service Hour Opportunity - Hey Flyers, if you LOVE horses, aren't allergic, and aren't scared, please volunteer for the annual HAEC horse show November 4th and 5th. The horse show is this weekend and there are still 7 volunteer spots available!

Help needed for this year's Style Show!
Monday morning, Nov. 6th, we need help transporting the decorations to the Bossier Civic Center. Also, Thurs. afternoon Nov. 9th we will need help transporting these items back to storage. General Admission Season Passes for Basketball and Soccer are on sale now!
Passes are valid for one (1) general admission per pass for all home pre and regular season Freshman, Varsity and JV games. You do not need to purchase passes for your Loyola student. Children 6 and under get free general admission. Loyola is now cashless for tickets to home athletic events. Tickets can be purchased for each home game online at www.GoFan.co or with credit card at the door (fees apply for both.) With a Season Pass, you do not have to do either! Just show your pass card to the gate attendant and you’re all set to cheer on the Flyers! Soccer Passes are $55 each for Boys games and $25 each for Girls games. NOTE: Girls Soccer Season Pass is NOT VALID for any games held during the Flyer Invitational Soccer Tournament. Loyola Rosary Group - All are welcome to join the Rosary Group on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm to pray for the needs and intentions of our school: our students, their families, the faculty, and administration.
