The Junior Retreat will be held Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church 4700 Palmetto Road Benton, LA 71006. Students must arrive by 7:45AM in order to not be listed as tardy. Retreats countas a day of school. Doors will open at 7:20AM if someone needs to be dropped off early. Dismissal/pick up from the retreat is at 2:30PM. *Please refer to the previously sent Junior Retreat email for more details.
Girls soccer was back in action Wednesday night against Parkway for a pre-season scrimmage. The Flyers got the win with a final score of 9-1, with seven different Flyers finding the back of the net. Goals were scored by, Saniyah Simo, Ainsley Matlock, Mary Helen Burford, Katelyn McNeill, Ella Poole, Maddie Crawford, and Kennedy Kerr.

The Flyers will take on Ascension Episcopal in the first round of playoffs this Friday 11/10 at 7pm at Messmer Stadium.Per LHSAA regulations, all attendees must purchase a ticket, including all students, season pass and Blue Seat holders. Tickets are $10 cash at the gate and can also be purchased with credit card and online at https://gofan.co/event/1220758?schoolId=LA23475 (Fees apply for online and credit card.) It is advised to purchase tickets in advance to avoid the line at the ticket booth.

Coats for Kids - Porter's Cleaners is collecting donations of new & gently used coats.There is a drop-off box located in the front office. Each year, with your help, Coats for Kids is able to distribute hundreds of coats across our cities! Donate today!
Softball Fundraiser - Do you like baked goods? Well lucky for you LCP softball will be selling sweet treats at lunch every Monday of November! Be sure to bring $2 so you can support our team!

Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.
Loyola College Prep is hosting a Veterans’ Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 16th - 9:20 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. at Cathedral Of St. John Berchmans. Loyola students will honor our veterans with a Mass, guest speaker and music. There will be a reception following in St. Vincent’s Hall. This celebration is for all parents, family members, alumni and community members. We are asking all LCP families to send in pictures of their veteran family members with the family member's name and branch of service to [email protected]. The pictures will be used in a slideshow during the reception. Deadline to turn in pictures on Friday, Nov. 10th.
Fr. Raney Johnson, our Diocesan Vocations Director, will be hosting a Quo Vadis Vocations Retreat for young men in high school in the Diocese of Shreveport. The retreat is in Shreveport on December 9th and 10th. Please share this information with the high school aged young men in your parish. Interested students can register using the QR code on the attached flyer.

Service Hour Opportunities - The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is partnering with Sportspectrum for the annual Turkey Trot run on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd. We need volunteers the week of Thanksgiving to help with race registrationand packets at Sportspectrum. We will also need volunteers at the event Thanksgiving morning.

Loyola Rosary Group - All are welcome to join the Rosary Group on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm to pray for the needs and intentions of our school: our students, their families, the faculty, and administration.
