Swim Team News - Congratulations to the Loyola Swim Team for outstanding performances at State! Gus Nicolosi finished 1st in the 100m Freestyle and 3rd in the 50m Freestyle! Boys were 7th in the 200 Medley Relay and 9th in the 200 Freestyle Relay. The Girls were 10th in 200 Medley Relay and 9th in the 200 Freestyle Relay. Elle Dart finished 16th in the 100 Freestyle for the girls and Nick Culbertson finished 15th in the 100 Freestyle and 17th in the 100 Breaststroke for the boys. Kathryn Jackson finished 17th in the 100 Backstroke. Boys RelayTeam - Gus Nicolosi, Rhys Armagost, Aaron Gonzales, Nick Culbertson Girls Relay Team - Isabella Romanski, Emily Rowe, Elle Dart, Kathryn Jackson; The Boys team finished 10th overall and the Girls team finished 14th overall.

The Girls Soccer teams are back in action at Messmer this weekend for the Flyer Invitational! Varsity plays Friday at 5:00 against Saint Thomas More. Saturday games are at 9:00 against Arch Bishop Hannan and 1:30 against Lakeshore. The JV girls will be at Messmer on Friday at 7:40 vs Hannan. Saturday they play at Cargill at 12:00 vs Benton and are back at Messmer at 4:30 vs Byrd. Tickets are $5 at the gate.
Congratulations to Ian Lin, Adriana Martin, and Sebastian Gallegos-Pabon who will be representing Loyola at the Louisiana Music Educators Association Convention as members of the All-State Orchestra this weekend in Baton Rouge.
Archer Elston, Collier Franklin, Carter Spohr, Landon Hooper, Tripp Roemer and Teresa Fields will be traveling to compete at theNike Cross Country Regionals Meet in The Woodlands, TX this weekend. Good luck, Flyers!

Deadline is Nov 17th after which Harrington House will make a selection for you. Links were emailed to you previously. You may also go to the Harrington House website and click on Place an Order. Search Loyola. Click on Seniors 24. Enter the online code that you/your parents were emailed previously and choose your yearbook/composite selection from the Drape/Tux portraits. Simply click the yearbook tab at the bottom of your images, then the image you would like us to use and then click save.
Students must order lunch a week in advance via a Google form here: Week of 11.27-12.01.2023. https://forms.gle/i1pBqKdt7TvaMhvf9- The deadline to order meals for the week is FRIDAY at 2:30pm. Funds will be deducted from the student/faculty My School Bucks account. **Orders are charged even if they are not picked up. ** Orders must be placed from the students Loyola Google account/email. Orders not picked up by the 2nd half of lunch will be made available for sale. If you will be late due a meeting, test, etc, please arrange to have your lunch picked up. Due to our vendor agreement with our Cafe provider, fast food or delivery are not allowed. Lunch should either be ordered from the Cafe, or brought from home. No exceptions.

The Knights of Columbus will sponsor the first ever Diocese of Shreveport Priests vs Seminarians basketball game
All funds raised for this event will support our seminarians. Tickets for the game are $5.00 each.
Children 10 and under are admitted free. The game will be held on Saturday, December 16th. Times are 10-12 at the Loyola College Prep gym. Concessions will be available at the event. Fr. Raney Johnson, our Diocesan Vocations Director, will be hosting a Quo Vadis Vocations Retreat for young men in high school in the Diocese of Shreveport. The retreat is in Shreveport on December 9th and 10th. Please share this information with the high school aged young men in your parish. Service Hour Opportunity - St. Joseph Church will be offering “Nativity Nights” Friday nights in December, 5-8 PM, during the advent season to engage kindergarten through 5th graders in the faith. Dinner will be served, and they will have games, activities, and crafts to involve each child in the true meaning of the season. Service Hour Opportunities - The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is partnering with Sportspectrum for the annual Turkey Trot run on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd. We need volunteers the week of Thanksgiving to help with race registrationand packets at Sportspectrum. We will also need volunteers at the event Thanksgiving morning.

Loyola Rosary Group - All are welcome to join the Rosary Group on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm to pray for the needs and intentions of our school: our students, their families, the faculty, and administration.
